Not Trust Worthy 

Skylor's POV

Kai just kissed my forehead.

Nya stared at me with a big smirk on her face.

"And you say that he doesn't like you," she tells me.

"Maybe he just did that because he felt bad for what he did last night?"

"Oh my gosh. You're. So. Oblivious. He kissed your forehead because he likes you. Not for forgiveness," The water ninja says, rolling her eyes.

I sighed. "Should I talk to him about it?"

"You definitely should."

I went to the living room to watch TV so then I could think about something other than the forehead kiss.

But when I put on the Ninjago News channel, Gayle Gossip said something that definitely distracted me from what had just happened:

"Breaking News: The beloved fire ninja was found at Chen's Noodle Shop as a worker. He was spotted there by a couple of teenage girls that posted a picture of the ninja on social media, which lead to the store getting flooded with people. Here is a clip of Kai there:"

It then showed 2 teenage girls running up to Kai and one of them took off his sunglasses.
One girl squeals and says, "Oh my gosh! I knew it was you, Kai! What are you doing here? Don't you have more important stuff to do?" And Kai told the girls, "Uh, could you not post that please? I'm on a secret mission," which was a lie.

How could he lie to me all this time about where he's going?

He doesn't have to do everything for me, I could do things on my own.

I turned off the TV and went back to my room.

Kai's POV

TIME SKIP

I just arrived at the monastery after a long day at the noodle shop.

I walked in and saw everyone in the living room.

Well, everyone but Skylor.

I walk up to my sister. "Where is Skylor?", I ask.

"She left," my sister told me.

"What? Why?"

"I don't know, but she seemed upset."

"Where is she?", I ask.

"I don't know."

"I'll text her then."

Where did you go?

Skylor
I got a call saying that my
apartment is fully renovated,
so I left.

Kai
Without saying goodbye?

Skylor
Bye.

I meant in person...

Maybe you should've stayed home
from your "secret mission".
