Skylor's POV

Kai is kissing me...!!!!!

I immediately kissed him back and I could feel him smiling against my lips.

My arms wrapped around his neck and I began to run my fingers through his hair to pull him closer.

He grabbed my waist and put me on his lap.

When we broke apart after what felt like an eternity, I whisper, "I've wanted to do that for so long."

Kai smirked and said, "Me too. And now that we have, I don't want to stop," and with that, he kissed me again.

Kai and I are now sitting on my couch watching The Summer I Turned Pretty.

I turned on my phone and saw that it was 3 am.

"Kai," I say. "I think you should start heading home. It's 3 in the morning."

He smirked and said, "you really wanna get rid of me so soon?"

"Kai, as much as I want you here, I want to go to sleep. And the ninja might get worried if they realize that you're not at the monastery."

I walk home towards my front door and open it for him.

He sighed dramatically. "Can I ask you a question before I go?", I nodded.

"Do you, uh... want to be my girlfriend?"

My face turned beet red. "Y-yeah, I do."

He smiled and kissed me. Then, he said "I love you, Sky," and left.

Kai's POV

AT THE MONASTERY

I just got back at the monastery and I hope that my friends are all asleep.

I turned on the light and saw Nya standing in front of me.

I nearly jumped. "Why aren't you asleep?", I asked my sister.

"Because I wanted to ask if you finally kissed her," she replied.

"What are you talking about?"

She rolled her eyes. "Don't play dumb. I know that you went to her apartment. Now tell me what happened."

"Okay, fine. We did kiss," I say. "Happy now?"

"Of course I'm happy. It took you long enough to kiss her."

I rolled my eyes. "Just go to bed."

She sighed and teasingly said,"yes, mother."

And with that, I went to bed, too.
