He's Back

Kai's POV

We're in the dragon's lair...

Great.

Skylor starts using the power of gravity to put ice on the dragon's wings but it isn't working.

She starts using Zane's ice power but that didn't work either.

I keep trying to bring back my fire power to help her nothing's working.

I have to be able to help.

Soon, the dragon has Skylor cornered and I feel fire rushing through my veins.

Then, I see a very tiny flame on my hand.
Finally!

I step in front of Skylor.

The dragon starts letting out its icy blast form its mouth and I use all my strength for my fire power.

My fire blew up the dragon.

"Woah." Skylor says.

"Yes!!!I got back my power!!!" I exclaim.

Then, Skylor gives me one of her classic hugs.

"With or without your power, you're still very strong." She says.

I blush. "Thanks, Sky."

"Okay, let's get out of here already!" Skylor says.

"But we can't leave Zane." I say.

"You're right. But how will we get in without getting caught?"

"You can use your smoke power." I suggest.

"Yeah, and I can grab the staff from Zane's hand to help snap him out of it!" Skylor exclaims.

"You're so smart, Sky." I say with flushed cheeks.

"Thanks. Now let's go. We can't waste any time."

She takes my hand and she uses her smoke power.

We walk back into the castle and lucky, nobody noticed.

I just hope Zane's sensors don't detect us.
We walk by Vex and he doesn't even look in our direction.
But once we walk past Zane, he can see us.

"Hey! I know it's you! Stop using your power right now!" Zane shouts.

Uh oh. What do we do now?

Skylor stops using her smoke power.

When the guards and Vex see that it's us, they try and freeze us but Skylor froze them all first.
She's amazing.

"Zane, do you remember us?" Skylor asks.

"Who is Zane? I am the Ice Emperor." Zane says.

"No, buddy. You're not. You've been sent here by Aspeera. We'll fix you, don't worry." I say.

"If you come any closer, I'll freeze you." Zane says.

But he spoke too soon.

Skylor used her super speed power and tries to grab the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu.

It's frozen to his hand.

He's about to freeze Skylor until she says, "Wait! Please, just let me help your memory. If it hurts, you can freeze me."

"Fine." Zane grumbles.

She puts her hands on his temples and after about 30 seconds, Zane's eyes go wide.

He then breaks the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu and he is back to his old self again.

"Zane!" I say while giving him a huge hug.
