Planning On Ending You

Skylor's POV

I wake up, slowly and head to the kitchen to make everyone breakfast.

Even though today is my day off from work, I love cooking so I don't mind making everyone breakfast.

THIRTY MINUTES LATER

I finally finished making omelets with veggies and noodles.

"IS SOMEBODY MAKING FOOD?!?" I hear Jay shout.

"Maybe." I say.

He sprints to the kitchen and I could see his eyes glistening.

"Can you please just stay here forever so you can make us breakfast everyday?" Jay asks me.

"You know, I have a restaurant and you can order breakfast, right? You don't need me here." I say.

"Did someone say breakfast?" Cole asks while running to the kitchen.

Just like Jay, his eyes started to glisten.

It doesn't take long for Kai and Nya to come to the kitchen.

TIME SKIP (sorry that there are so many 😅)

It's almost 1 AM which is way longer than I wanted to stay, but here I am.

All the ninja just feel like family to me.

And every time I spend time with them, I remember this conversation with Kai;

"We could use a girl like you in our gang." Kai offers.

"A girl?" I ask with an eyebrow raised.
His cheeks flush.

"Uh, I mean... ninja."

This made me smile.

"Flattering, but now that my father's gone, someone's gotta run the family business." I say.

Why did I have to deny his offer? I really wish I didn't.

I could've gotten closer with Kai and I would actually be doing something fun in my life.

But that leads me back to now:
Leaving the monastery to go back to my sad little apartment and then go right back to work at six AM tomorrow.

Oh, what fun!

All the ninja except Kai wave goodbye to me.

But Kai comes up to me, grabs my hands, locks eyes with me, and says, "I'm really glad that you decided to stayed over. Everything's always great when you're around. "

My cheeks flush from both his words and the closure.

"Thanks, hedgehog." I say with a slight smirk.

He pouts. "Hey! I do not look like a hedgehog!"

"You sure about that?" I say, pointing to his hair.
"I am very sure. And my hair looks amazing."

I look down at my watch, and it says the time is 12:15.

"I really gotta go." I say.

He sighs.

"Ok, but let's keep in touch, Sky."

I smile. "Of course."

???'s POV

I've been watching Skylor Chen for about three weeks now.

She's a traitor.

After what she did to my cousin, I cannot forgive her.

That's why I must kill her.
