Kai's POV

Ultra Violet and Killow are back.

"How do you get out of your handcuffs?" Killow shouts.

"Someone left a key in a cabinet." Skylor says.

"Killow! Out of all the places! You're such an idiot!" Ultra Violet says. "Whatever. We got her before and we can get her now."

Little does she know, the ninja AND the police are coming here.

10 minutes of Skylor beating them up later, the police and my friends arrived.

"PUT YOUR HANDS UP NOW!" An officer shouts.

But Ultra Violet throws her sword at one of the officer and misses.

I let out a muffled chuckle.

The officers hand Lloyd and Nya the handcuffs and they put them on Ultra Violet's and Killow's wrists.

Then, all my friends run up to me and Nya hugs me.

"I'm so glad you're okay, Kai." Nya says.

She lets go and tries to take off my handcuffs.
It doesn't work.

"I got it." An officer says. "They stole the handcuffs from the police station, so I have the keys."

He unlocks it and I rub my wrists.

I then stand up and stretch.

"Thank you, officer." I say.

He nods and goes to follow the other police officers.

"How long have you been cuffed on there? Cole asks me.

"Since I got kidnapped." I say while trying to stand up straight without my legs tumbling me down. But I fail.

Skylor comes to my side and helps me stand.

Skylor's POV

We made it back to the monastery and Wu gives Kai a really big hug.

"It's so good to have you back." Wu says.

"Sorry, Wu, but I'm starving. All they gave me for 'food' is garbage." Kai says.

"I can make you noodles if you want." I say.

"That would be amazing." Kai says.

We both walk to the kitchen.

TIME SKIP

I made Kai some noodles and he gobbled it up extremely fast.

"I think you should get some rest." I tell Kai.

"No, you do. You have the biggest eye bags." He says.

"Yeah, because I've been worried about you." I mumble.

He gets up and gives me a hug.

"You shouldn't ever worry about me. Your sleep is important." He says.

"Not as important as you." I whisper.

He hugs me tighter. "You're more important than me. Now you should go rest."

He says something else, but I fall asleep.

Kai's POV

I feel her head fall on my shoulder.

"Did you fall asleep on me?" I say with a tiny laugh.

She did.

I pick her up bridal-style and bring her to the couch. I grab a blanket and put it on her.

"Aww! You're tucking in your girlfriend." Jay whispers.

"She is not my girlfriend." I whisper-hissed.

"But we all know you wish she was." He says a little louder.

My face goes red and Jay smirks.

"Leave, Jay. Let her sleep."

For once, he listened to me.

I glance over at Skylor again.

She's so pretty, I think to myself.

"What are you doing?" Nya asks me.

Ugh.

"I just brought Skylor here to sleep."

"And to stare at her?" Nya says with a big grin.

I roll my eyes and head to my room.

I go in my bed and fall right to sleep.

"KAI!!! KAI!!! WHERE ARE YOU?", I hear someone shout.

It was Skylor. She broke down crying.

"No don't cry! I'm right here!" I say, but she didn't even look up.

Suddenly, Vex comes behind her with an axe.

"NO!" I shout. I try using my fire power, but it doesn't work. I run up to Vex and try and to stop him, but it's like I don't exist.

Since I can't stop him and since Skylor can't hear me, Vex uses the axe on her.

"NOOO!" I scream. "I loved her!"

I wake up screaming and my cheeks are moist.

It was all just a dream.
