HP2 - Misty

"Wow. I'm so surprised with the surname." Private smiled at that thought. Well so do I.

Kabadong kabado ako na nakaupo dito sa upuan. Ang cute ng name ni Private.

"Who's your parents?" Tanong nito. He looked curious about my family background.

"Pamela Gonzales and I don't know my dad's because my mom won't let me know his name. He left us when I was a baby." I uttered onto him.

Napatigil siya saglit at nag-isip. "Oh.. Sorry about that." Tumingin siya sa akin. "Okay let's do the interview. I'm in a hurry." He said and opened my folder.

"So your name is Misty Frea Gonzales?"

"Yes, Sir."

"So, Describe yourself." He said.

Huminga na muna ako ng malalim bago sumagot. "Well, to sum it up, I'm just new on this thing because I just graduated this year and wanting to have a good job. But I'm willing to take any job just a decent one." Simple lang 'yon pero hugot na hugot sa puso ko.

"Well, Is there a type of work environment you prefer?"

"I want a peace one."

"What will you do if you don't get a job offer?"

"Well of course, I will find a new one. I won't force myself in this job." I said while smiling but I can still feel my heartbeat. Damn that heartbeat.

"You did well, Miss Gonzales. You're hired." He said and signed something on his table.

Binigay niya sa akin iyon at tinuro ang pipirmahan ko. "Miss Gonzales, still awkward." He said while I'm writing my signature. "Anyway, you'll be my assistant. Personal assistant."

I just nodded. Walang magbibigay malisya sa amin for sure. Pareho kami ng surname at sobrang imposible 'yon sa mata ng tao.

And why am I even thinking na maiinlove ako sa taong 'to? Hay nako, Misty.

"Okay, sir. When will I start?" I asked to him before leaving the room.

"Tomorrow." He said while smiling. That smile creeps me out seriously.

I packed my things and stormed out his room. Pagkalabas ko ay bumungad ang pagmumukha ni Theo. "Ohh, Misty! How's the interview?" Tanong niya sa akin at sinamahan ako papunta sa elevator.

"Ayos lang. Tanggap!" tuwang tuwa kong sabi.

"Wow, you're really impressive! Hahaha." he said to me. That was kinda flattering.

"Thank you, looks like this rose is a lucky charm." Pinakita ko sa kaniya ang rose na binigay sa akin.
