His fangs were dangerously close to her neck but he refrained himself from tasting her delicious blood once again. He just devoured its magnificent scent, with his nose caressing Alexandra's carotid artery while she kept her eyes closed in anticipation.
"Can you tell me, why can't I get your blood out of my mind?" Enquired the vampire in a whisper, moving aside the rest of Alexandra's hair off her shoulder.
"I believe you already know the reason, Mr. Salvatore." Said Alexandra, coldly, after reopening her dark-brown eyes and facing away from the vampire.
Astonished, Damon stepped back from her - his face turning back to normal. "You know who I am."
The Nephilim decided to hide not the truth about knowing his identity. Turning her gaze to Damon's amazingly ice-blue one, she smirked, thinking about her response to the immortal being. "You know who and what I am, did you really think I would not find out about you?"
The older Salvatore did not give it much thought since the image of his younger brother came to his mind, almost instantly. "Stefan... Of course, he would warn you."
"Even if he wouldn't, I would have taken my precautions, nevertheless. You almost killed me last night, remember?"
"Oh, please! I wasn't going to kill you." Said Damon, with a slight-whined tone. "I just thought you and I could have a little chat. The whole 'biting' thing was not planned, I promise." He smirked maliciously.
"Judging by that mischievous smirk of yours, I highly doubt the possibility of you being quite honest with me."
"Oh, common Hotness..." He said and approached her a little bit more - the Nephilim did not move from her spot against the tree. "I'm being real here. I just wanted to talk to you."
"About what? You don't even know me, what could you possibly want from me?" Questioned the female, with dubiety.
"True, I don't know you..." He started, only for his next word to take the Shadowhunter by surprise even more. "Yet."
With her perfectly shaped brows raised, Alexandra took one step closer to Damon. "You want to know me? Just like that- You find out about a Shadowhunter dwelling in town and your first thought was to... get to know her?" Asked Alexandra, with a mixed expression of wonder and shock.
"Kinda. I actually had a witch to find a way for my problem and boom! There you were! She located your aura or strength or whatever..." Dismissed Damon, easily about what truly had happened. "Anyway, she said that there is a very special Shadowhunter, who would be perfect for what I need."
"And why would I help you with anything?" Questioned the Nephilim, not acknowledging that he called her as such.
"Because you're a Shadowhunter. Shadowhunters are half Angels, and Angels are kind creatures who help whoever needs their help." Said Damon, in a fake-kind tone - mostly being ironic to the beautiful woman.
"Indeed. They help those who truly deserve their assistance, not a blood-sucking ingenious who wish to take advantage of the celestial superiority for his own purposes." Acknowledged Alexandra, not letting Damon believe he had the upper hand, which he did not.
"Ingenious, huh? Do you really think I'm ingenious enough to do whatever I want?" Asked Damon, coming much closer to the youngest Bloodwood heir.
"I do." Replied the Nephilim, with every honesty.
