"Logan yearns for your downfall, Damon," stated Alexandra. "Not only because you ceased his life, but also because it was his duty as a member of the Town's Council, to end the vampires present in town. He will seek vengeance."
"Yeah, I know," he sighed. "I'll try tracking him with the Gilbert watch."
The Nephilim groaned in annoyance. "They succeeded in making it a vampire compass, didn't they?"
"Yep," agreed Damon, popping the 'p' before smirking. "But I got it back."
"How are you going to use it?" The brunette crossed her arms. "You'll be interfering with the signal."
"I'll have someone compelled to use it for me," he stopped her before she could snap at him. "I won't hurt them, don't start! Come on, Hotness, don't you trust me?"
She raised her eyebrow, pointedly at him. "Do you honestly want me to respond to that?"
The vampire gave her a playful look. "I love you, too."
Alexandra chuckled, impressed and Damon did after a moment too, although he wasn't lying about this...
"What are you going to do, now?" He enquired, truly wondering.
The female shrugged. "I'll get ready for my department."
"To where?" Frowned Damon.
"Maine," retorted Alexandra. "Tonight's Mike and Daniel's funeral. I must arrive at the Institute before midnight."
"I get it," murmured the Salvatore heir, not bothering to ask about the Institute. "Do you need a ride? I don't mind-" She shook her head, dismissingly with a smile, making him stop.
"There is no need, Damon," mused the half-Cretan, softly. "I would like to drive there by myself. I need that time to ponder over matters that cannot be delayed. And most importantly," she looked down and put her hand above her belly. "I must start thinking about my life with this little one here too, from now on."
Damon peered over her belly as well and was immediately flooded with an emotion of sadness before turning his gaze elsewhere, not able to think about it more. "As you wish. But if you change your mind, you know where to find me."
The Bloodwood lady beamed with his words of support. "Thank you, Damon. I honestly appreciate it."
"Don't mention it," he nodded and pursed his lips, trying not to show emotion.
He moved towards the window and went to jump out of it when Alexandra's voice stopped his action, "Wait!" He turned his head in her direction. "This is where you came in?" She requested, surprised, making him chuckle.
"Did you really think that I would use the entrance?"
"You are known for being the most apathetic person, ever, I wouldn't doubt your recklessness." She smirked, playfully, causing the Salvatore to raise his eyebrows at her, in awe.
"You do know me," he commented, in humour bringing the grin out in both of them before speeding away, leaving Alexandra with another surprised shake of her head.
Damon was still there though, under the window listening in to whatever Alexandra was doing. "If you think that I'm going to leave you to drive to New York by yourself, in that condition, you're terribly mistaken, Miss Bloodwood." He muttered to himself before speeding away to wherever Victoria was, hoping he would convince her to assist him in dealing with the also-immortal Logan Fell.
