"You're here..."

Gabriel veered around to face her.

"Hey," he inched closer to her and sat down in the armchair beside the bed. "How are you feeling?"

"Betrayed," she sighed and sat up, bringing the blanket closer to her. "For a thousand years, I've learned to love my brother, no matter what he's done. I've forgiven him for driving a dagger through our chests every time he felt displeased with our decisions. I've forgiven him for killing or compelling away my suitors over the centuries. I've always stood by him and what did I get in return? Lies."

The half-Cretan felt confident and took hold of her hand, making the vampire's heart jump. "Rebekah... I'm sorry for all the lies he's told you. But let me tell you, that even from the very little I happened to learn about your brother... the only conclusion I've come to make is that he only cares about not being left alone. Everything he has done was a selfish way to keep you by his side without taking into consideration your or your brothers' feelings." The blonde pursed her lips and placed her other hand on top of his, which urged him to continue, "And your Mother's death is the only verification you need."

The Original's eyes were filled with tears. "What am I going to do? He's the only family I have left right now... The rest of my brothers are rotting in a casket with a dagger in their hearts! I'm-" She sobbed. "I'm alone. "

"That's nonsense! You're not alone!"

The destined duo withdrew their hands and turned to see Alexandra standing by the door, her arms folded around herself.

"You're not alone, Rebekah," she repeated and entered the room, sitting down on the bed beside her. "You have us!"

The female Viking's eyes lit up. "I do?"

"Of course, you do!" The two siblings simultaneously said and smiled.

"Look," the brunette initiated. "Whether we like it or not, we're in this together. Your Mother may have done unforgivable things, but... if it wasn't for her, our lives would've been entirely different. We might not even get to know each other."

"We may have hated even the idea of this Bond at first," Gabriel continued and met Alexandra's eyes. "Each of us for our own reasons..."

"But now everything has changed for us," finished the younger half-Cretan with a shy smile, bringing on Rebekah's smile as well. "I'm looking forward to finding Elijah's coffin and pulling that stupid dagger out of his chest, so he will finally be free..." The two of them shared a smile before she nodded towards Gabriel. "And my brother here is trying to comprehend the fact that you're his soulmate and that you're actually blonde."

Rebekah turned to him with an impressed look on her immortal features. "Why? Don't you don't like blondes?"

The male half-Cretan struggled with his words at first until he looked into the Mikaelson heir's beautiful eyes and his tongue was released.

"I-I think I do, now."

The vampire's dead heartbeat increased rapidly upon his statement and she blushed without realizing it.

Alexandra's phone was heard ringing from downstairs and drew their attention.

"Let me guess," Rebekah raised a pointed brow. "Damon."

"Why don't you continue your conversation while I answer that?" The female Nephilim ignored her with a glare and stood up. "It could be important."

She turned around and walked out of the room, leaving them alone.
