Not out of her own willingness, but her system couldn't respond otherwise after Victoria requested the beginner paramedic to inject the sedative injection into Alexandra's arm, and given all of her exhaustion, the medicine simply lured her to sleep after Sheila's calming brew.

And it took all those for her to fall asleep, imagine the difference between her and a common mundane who of course did not contain the Devil's gene in them.

They had her in Bonnie's bedroom. It was a theoretically big room, so it could fit the people who were now in.

"Τον αδερφό μου," they heard the Nephilim mumble in her sleep. "Θέλω τον αδερφό μου."

"What is she saying?" Wondered Elena, from the end of her bed, looking at Alaric who still held his niece in his embrace and soothed her hair.

"She's asking for Gabriel," sighed the uncle.

"But she didn't say his name," noted Bonnie, bewildered. "How did you know who she wanted to see?" Even though none of them spoke Greek (apart from Alaric of course, who had learned the basics and much more all these years by the side of Nicholas' family), they did notice Alexandra not saying either of her brothers' names... or anyone's in general.

Moreover, the female Shadowhunter had revealed to them that she and Gabriel were not on the very best terms lately, so her invocation of her second brother sowed queries into Elena and Bonnie's minds.

Alaric grinned sadly. "You might have known Alexandra from your childhood, but even after all these years, you don't know anything about her and her family."

No one said a word. They couldn't say something to that statement because it was true.

Alexandra had been hiding her metaphysical identity almost her entire life from most people, it didn't surprise anyone that they knew her but then again, they didn't.

Moreover, they couldn't utter a word about any metaphysical issue, as Caroline and Tyler were present in the room, too.

"Do we know what caused the explosion?" Asked Tyler and finished typing on his phone before putting it back in his pocket.

"Probably a gas leak," replied the vampire hunter and gestured for Elena. "Can you-?"

"Yeah, sure," she stood up and took Alaric's place in supporting the Shadowhunter while the blond man wanted to let his nephews and former brother-in-law, know what had happened.

"Who did you text?" Questioned Caroline, her boyfriend.

"Matt," said Tyler. "He saw what happened in the News, he was freaking out. He thought Alexa was dead."

"Thank God, she isn't," whispered the Bennett lady and looked at the sleeping half-mundane. "Both her and her baby are fine." Her eyes widened once she realized the tragic error that had just come out of her lips.

"HER WHAT!?" Whisper-yelled the couple along with Alaric, the three of them rather shocked due to the revelation.

Alexandra stirred in her sleep and made everyone freeze in their places, fearing that they awoke her but the poor creature was rather exhausted to be awakened by some loud voices (not to mention the quantity of the medicine).

"She's pregnant!?" Lowly expressed Caroline after her silent stare over Alexandra's stomach.

The young witch, vampire and human shared a look. They couldn't hide it, now.
