Nathaniel and Gabriel were trying to locate her day and night but unsuccessfully.

Klaus appeared to be a rather smart man, considering he'd found a way to cloak her even from her brothers' Shadowhunter abilities.

The two males were so angry at themselves for losing so many opportunities to speak with their sister and apologize these past couple of months, and if they didn't succeed in finding her, they would never forgive themselves for not being by her side at her last moments (and that if Klaus decided to end her life)...

"Anything?" Asked Gabriel as he watched his brother endeavouring to learn Alexandra's current location via his Tracking Rune.

Nathaniel clenched one of their sister's favourite tops with his eyes closed and his rune activated when he shook his head. "No matter how hard I concentrate, I can't sense anything. It's like there's nothing to be found."

"Don't you say that!" Growled the younger Bloodwood, his voice breaking at the end. "She's not dead, she's just very well hidden. Sh-" He closed his eyes, holding his tears back. "She's gotta be. If not, I will never forgive myself."

"We both showed cowardice by choosing to neglect her, Gabe," whispered the dirty-blond half-Cretan with a hard voice. "It wasn't like we didn't deserve the scolding. And like school children, we feared being scolded by our own sister! We kept from her that Elijah was alive. For us, it wasn't much but for her it was and we didn't respect that. He's her soulmate, man, whether we like it or not. How'd you feel if she kept the same secret for your soulmate?"

"I would've been beyond mad at her," he replied in a heartbeat.

Nathaniel raised his brows, pointedly and stood up from his seat. "And you would repeat the silent treatment for another decade. You screwed up with her once and never actually apologized. Pray now for us to find her and make sure you apologize this time." He leaned over the table and told him, "We will find her, Gabriel. Because if we don't... then the last words that we exchanged with her would be; 'Don't worry, Lexie. We will come back soon'. A lie, Gabriel."

They both started to cry and the older brother squeezed the younger one by his shoulder, supportingly.

"A lie."

The sun caressed the forest with its bright sun rays, making a wonderful reflection above the quiet stream.

Alexandra's umber-coloured eyes shone against the onslaught of light wonderfully yet the Nephilim diverted her gaze from nature's wonder to shield her eyes.

After letting the sun warm her silhouette from the cool breeze, she once again plunged the Original's clothes into the water and pulled them out before standing up, squeezing them in the process so, she could finally lay them aside to dry off.

It felt so weird that she was wearing Viking outfits herself - the youngest sister of the Original Family, Rebekah, being of great assistance in this particular factor.

Rebekah's dresses weren't exactly Alexandra's size but that wasn't what bothered the woman. The only thought that penetrated her mind every time, was that she was not wearing her magnificent brassieres and sometimes it was quite obvious... and Elijah was around.
