Chapter Forty-Six 

Allendis Kane POV

"How was the preparation?" tanong ko kay Lucas ng sakto ay pagpasok niya sa opisina, "According to Keiran everything's ready, i also receive some help from Kaizen and knowing that guys' brain mabilis na tayong natapos" sagot niya sa akin at pabagsak na umupo sa sofa.

"Thanks" pasasalamat ko sa kanya pero tinanguan niya lang ako bago humilata doon at pumikit, ngumiti nalang ako at tiningnan ang Litrato namin ni Allison noong mga bata pa kami, just like what my brother want I focused on my succession as the Empire's new ruler.

After the accident during the masquerade ay inabala ko ang sarili ko sa pag hahanap sa kanya, I've been mobilizing my men just to find her, as I focused on the things I need to do. It seems like some of the elders in the Empire are still hesitant to give us the Empire since I'm just an 18 year old kid.

They said that my Brother Ashton can take over the Empire as he's already 27 years old and already old enough to take care of the Empire, but he said that he'll let me and Allison have it as he will be the next Praetor of the Organizare.

After a week, the last time we talked, he said that he'll send father to a doctor. I asked him why now of all times and that when he said that he can't let Allison be alone because it would probably make the family grow apart more, but that thing already happened even without him knowing.

He already sent father back to Spain and for an hour I was able to talk to my father before their flight properly saying that he's glad that I was Alive and he's sorry for not being a good father who can't protect his children.

I don't know how to react at that time, I don't know if I should be happy but atleast Im content. I've been living my life leisurely even if I'm away from my family and I have my friends to lean on every time I have problems, but I don't know in Allison's case.

She may have grown up with our father and brother but she grew up, distant and trying hard to survive on her own as she was kept in the dark, wanting to make the people around her be proud of her existence and know her worth, that's why I just nod at my father and said that it's ok.

Comparing to Allison's life i was more comfortable without trying anything aside from surviving in this cruel world without them, but now she's just right in-front of me, I was stupid to loose her again just like the last time.

It's been 3 weeks since her disappearance, Keiran is busy looking for her together with her friend, in just a blink of an eye time already passed without a single lead of her still being alive, I don't want to lose my hope in her, but they keep saying I should prepare myself if there a news about her death.

I don't care if she's dead, but at least, for the least thing, I want her body to be retrieve and prepare for her burial, I want to see her face just for one last time, "Allendis" nagulat nalang ako ng may isang kamay na bumagsak sa harapan ko.

"Earth to you, everything's ready we just need your approval to start moving the kids" wika ni Zaireem saakin, tumango nalang ako sa kanya dahil siya ang nagbabantay ngayon sa dalawang bata sa bahay ni Keiran.

"Yes, please do so" wika ko sa kanya at umayos ng pu, I didn't know how long I've been spacing out dahil mukhang tulog na si Lucas sa sofa, "By the way, may balita na ba kay Allison?" tanong ko sa kanya pero inilingan niya lang ako.

"No, we just retrieve the yacht, and the whole Broadcasting studio has been bothering not the administration about the several death's of politician, we're lucky to move freely because of your brother's help, but we still hasn't find your sisters body" wika niya saakin na sinagot ko nalang ng tango.
