Taking Chances (a Ross Lynch fanfiction)

Chapter 3

The concert was at stage A&E in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. It took us about an hour to get there from where I live and we were about 6 hours early for the concert.

"I don't care how early we are, we have meet and greet tickets and this is gonna be a good day!" I exclaimed.

"Now you're getting excited! Finally, I didn't think you were gonna get out of that mood." Brittany said.

"Yeah I know, I'm just nervous, but I'm also REALLY excited!"

"I've been excited for my chance to meet Ryland!"

I rolled my eyes and laughed at her.

After about an hour more people started showing up and it started to get hot out. Luckily we were under the shadow of the building.

"Mommy I'm too hot!"

"I'm hungry!"

"I have to go to the bathroom!"

All the younger girls were getting restless but the teenagers were singing and being annoying.

Don't get me wrong, I love singing along to R5 songs but after 2 hours of it, it gets really, really, annoying.

After another 2 and a half hour, they started letting meet and greet go in.

I started to panic all over again and started feeling nauseous.

"Yay! We finally get to go in! After almost 6 hours of waiting..." Brittany continued talking but I was so nervous I had to block her out.

We walked in the door and they were standing about 10 yards away. We were so close, yet so far. We still had to wait out turns.

"So do you wanna do a cutesy pose or just stand there?" Brittany asked snapping me back to reality.

"I don't care, it's up to you." I said kind of quiet.

"Well I wanna do a cutesy pose and I know exactly what I wanna do." She went off again.

It was finally our turn and it was so surreal. I went up and hugged Rydel and Ratliff, while Brittany hugged Ross I went over and hugged Rocky, who smelt really good, then Riker who had the biggest, cutest smile. Then I turned and went to hug Ross. I threw my arms around his neck and whispered in his ear. "You don't know how much you truly mean to me." I whispered so only he would hear. I pulled away and couldn't believe I just did that. He looked at me weird at first but then smiled.

He was about to say something back but the camera man interrupted and told us to get ready for our picture.

Brittany was on a move telling people where to go and what to do. Ratliff and Rydel were doing a Rydellington pose, hugging and looking all cute. Brittany put me between Rocky and Ross so it looked like I was pushing them away and they both wanted me. She then did a couple pose with Riker off to the side.

The man took the picture and we were ushered out of the room. I looked back and Ross was watching me, mouthing something but we were pushed outside.

"He wasn't talking to me. I bet he wasn't even looking at me. He was probably looking at someone else trying to talk to security or something or maybe his mom and dad. They were standing by the door." I said frantically.

"No way! He was soooo looking at you. He was trying to get your attention. The damn security pushed us out too soon. It's alright. So what did you do to get his attention?" She asked.

I sorta blushed, "I whispered in his ear, 'You don't know how much you truly mean to me' but I doubt he listened. He's probably told so many things while he does meet and greets." I said without enthusiasm.

"Um no, you definitely caught his attention. He looked like he was gonna run after you."

" I doubt it.." I said, and we waited for sound check to start.
