Ross drove me home after we spent the day with his parents. They were so nice and never said anything about Ross and I having sex.

I tried not to think about it. Maybe if I didn't, they wouldn't. It would make the option of going on tour a lot easier.

"What are you thinking about?" Ross asked. We were sitting in my bedroom on my bed again.

"Just stuff." I shrugged.

"Well," he kissed me, "what kind of stuff?"

"I'm thinking about you asking if I can go on tour and the only thing your parents thinking of is walking in on us." I said.

"Don't worry. They loved you today and I have only told them good stuff about you."

"Yeah, but I told my mom what we did too and I don't know if she would be in on it."

"Well the only thing we can do it try."

I turned toward him and he pressed his lips against mine.

The only thing that pulled us away was the sound of the front door being opened. My mother must be home.

"We should probably go let her know you're here. Do you wanna stay for dinner?" I asked.

"Of course. As long as I can sit by you." He smiled.

We got up and walked down the stairs to the kitchen where my mom was carrying a ton of grocery bags. Ross ran over to help carry bags.

"Oh, I didn't know you had someone over." My mother exclaimed.

"Sorry. It was unexpected." I replied.

"Well, if your here would you like to stay for dinner?" She asked Ross.

"I would be honored to." Ross said. I could tell he was trying to make a good impression on my mom.

"So, you're Ross, right?" She asked.

"Um, yeah. Yes I am." He stuttered.

"I have heard a few things about you." She said with a hostile tone.

"Oh.." Ross didn't really know how to reply.

"So how long have you two been here alone together?" She asked cautiously.

"Actually, we just got back a little bit ago. We went to Pittsburgh because Ross's parents wanted to meet me." I explained.

"Oh, so you weren't doing anything upstairs?" She asked.

"Mom!" I yelled.

"Sorry, I'm a mother I had to ask."

Ross was standing awkwardly beside the island. He was getting uncomfortable because of my mothers topic.

My mom could tell and tried changing the subject.

"So, what do you want for dinner? I don't know what you like Ross?"

"I like your daughter." He laughed. "I did not mean that in a sexual manner. I'm so sorry." He stuttered.

"Oh my gosh. Ok mom, anything is fine for dinner just make food. This topic is getting out of hand. We are going to the living room to watch TV." I said and we were gone.

"I didn't mean that like that, I swear." Ross said to me under his breath as we walked away.

"Well it sure sounded like you did." I laughed. "I know you were trying to be sweet and funny but if someone is talking about eating, you don't refer to a person, and then say you didn't mean it sexually. Then there's a whole different meaning."
