I had a dream that someone was kissing me. They were traveling from my shoulder, up my neck, and to my mouth, multiple times. I couldn't find a face to the lips, but it felt so real.
I decided it wasn't a dream and opened my eyes to find Ross, leaning over top of me.
"I was wondering how long it would take you to wake up." He smirked.
I threw my arms around his neck. "I missed you." I breathed.
"I missed you too."
"How are you back so early?" I looked at the clock and it said 4:37am.
"I caught the earliest flight I could. I had to get back to you." He said, taking off his shirt. "I'm so tired, but I missed you so much."
"I missed you too. I came back here from the hospital yesterday and your family had a surprise party for me."
He crawled over me and laid beside me. "How'd that go?" He asked, slipping out of his jeans.
"The dinner was great, afterwards, not so much."
"You're gonna have to tell me about it in the morning. I'm so tired I could literally fall asleep anywhere."
Ross pulled me against him and wrapped his arms around me. He kissed my forehead and I fell back asleep in his arms.

I awoke, still wrapped in Ross's arms. He looked so tired. I looked at my phone. 10:23am. He'd only been sleeping for six hours. I figured I'd let him sleep, so I slipped out of bed.
When I got up, I noticed he had locked his bedroom door last night when he came home. I opened the door and went to the kitchen.
"Hey." Rydel said, walking in behind me.
"Hey." I yawned.
"When's Ross supposed to get back?"
"He's been back." I said quietly.
"When did he get back? How long has he been home?" She looked confused.
"He got back last night. He woke me up at like 4:30 in the morning. I guess he's been home for a while."
She gave me a puzzled look. "You hungry?" She asked.
I grabbed a banana out of the fruit bowl. "I'm good with this."
"No one else is up. Do you wanna do something?"
"Like what?" I asked, peeling my banana.
"We could go to the store. We need to restock the house. Usually, we don't keep a lot of food here while we're on tour." She said, looking through bare cupboards.
"Alright. Let me throw on some clothes and we can go." I said.
"I'll do the same and meet you in the living room in five minutes."
I went back to Ross's room where he was still sleeping. I moved slowly, trying not to wake him.
When I successfully put on a loose pink, summer dress, I slipped on flats and went to meet Rydel in the living room. Only Rydel wasn't there, Riker was.
"Nice dress." He smiled, eyeing me.
"Thanks." I whispered, nonchalantly pulling it down. At that point, I wished it wasn't so short.
"Where are you heading out to so early?"
"I'm going to the store with Rydel."
"Really?"
