We went home after the concert to try to get enough sleep before our dates. It was way harder than it seemed.
You would think sleeping after a concert would be simple but not when you're excited for the next day.
I was up almost all night which wasn't long, we didn't even get home until about 1am, and every time I was almost asleep, Brittany texted me and I was up again.
At about 5am I finally fell asleep and I was up at 9am. It was a good 4 hour sleep. I woke up to Brittany jumping on me.
"Wake up! We have a date to be getting ready for!" Brittany yelled in my ear.
"We have like 7 hours before we need to leave!" I said, terrified of my unexpected wake up call.
"Yeah, well I made nail and hair appointments for us plus we need to pick out outfits and do our makeup." She chirped back.
"Um, what are you talking about? Hair and nails? Excuse you? You really think I'm going to do that for one date?" I questioned her.
"Of course!! It's not 'just a date' it's Ross and Ryland Lynch. We have to prepare!"
"You're making it sound like the apocalypse. We don't need to do all that."
She suckered me into it and made me go. First we got our nails done, which I could have done myself, then we went and got out hair done and they put mine in my part with a little bow made out of my hair. When they were finally done, we went back to my house where Brittany got dressed. She wore a blue and white stripped dress with only one sleeve and white flats.
"There we go, something I'm comfortable in." I said smiling.
"You are NOT wearing that. No! Go put this on!" Brittany said.
I was wearing skinny jeans and a lace tank top.
"What's wrong with this?" I asked shocked.
"It's not sexy enough!"
"I don't think Ross is like that. I don't want to make him uncomfortable." I said.
I went to the bathroom and changed into what she had given me. It was a short black dress with white wedges with a bow on top.
"Are you really going to make me wear this?" I asked, kinda shocked.
"Of course I am. You are not going unless you look girly and pretty." She spit back.
Wow. I really hate when she does this kind of stuff. I hate when she tries to control my life but I just let this go. I took my other clothes and put them in my bag when she had her back turned.
"Ok. Now I'm going to do your makeup." She said.
I rolled my eyes. "Do you really have to?"
"Your makeup has to match your outfit!" She squealed.
She did black eyeliner and a lot of it with all types of concealer and mascara. I looked in the mirror and almost didn't recognize myself. She stood beside me with her makeup not as dark but virtually the same.
"Look how good you look! Better yet, look how good I look!" She yelled.
I again, rolled my eyes at her and laughed.
We went outside and got in the car. I texted Ross, 'So when and where are we meeting up?'
Almost instantly he answered, 'I'm so sorry, it's been such a busy day I haven't been able to talk much. Let's meet at the restaurant right beside Stage A&E. Let's say about 6:30?'
