"You think I'm stupid? You really think I believe that? Ashely's mother is such a nice lady! Why would she do that?" Stormie was upset. I highly doubt at this point she still liked me.
"Stormie please, I can explain." I started.
All eyes were on me, waiting for an explanation.
"My mother is very protective. She told Ross the only way she would feel comfortable about all this is if Ross took that bag. He denied it multiple time and tried to give it back. She wouldn't budge. My mother likes everything to be safe. Ross and I had no intentions on doing anything, but my mom had an idea that something was going to happen. If you want to ask her and talk to her about it, you can. I will let you use my phone."
That seemed to calm Stormie down.
"I think I would like that. I can use my phone, I just need her number."
I reached out and handed her my phone with my moms number.
"No one moves until I finish this call." Stormie said sternly.
I looked around at everyone's faces. They were puzzled, concerned, and Riker was amused.
I watched Ross's face. His jaw was tightened and his eyes aggressive.
"Ryland said Riker told, how did he know?" I whispered to Ross.
"I don't know but I'm sick of this."
"I don't want to start any kind of feud between you two. Maybe it's better if I don't go on tour."
"I want you with me. If Riker is going to get in the way, it's not your fault. It's no ones fault but his. Don't worry about it. I'm sure your mom will explain it and everything will be alright."
I gave him a silent nod and kept a watchful eye on Stormie.
She came back from around the side of the bus and over to Ross.
"I'm sorry, you were telling the truth and I overreacted. I also apologize to you Ashley," she said turning to me, "I didn't mean to yell at you."
"It's alright. I can't blame you after our first meeting." I blushed and looked away.
"Alright everyone, we're leaving soon. Finish what you're doing and get on the bus." Stormie yelled.
Everyone started going they're own way. Ross took my hand and started leading me to the bus. I pulled away and went over to Stormie.
"Stormie, I understand if you don't want me to go on tour with you anymore. I can take the bus home. I don't want to be a bother. I don't want to cause a bunch of drama. I'm sorry for everything. I do not have to go on tour with you. I can go home. I would completely understand." I said.
"Ashely, I don't blame you for anything. It's alright. Your mother explained it to me and now I feel more comfortable too. I'm not angry at you, I was just upset about the bag. Riker came up and told me he found it. I didn't want to believe it."
"What do you mean Riker told you?"
"Riker came up behind me and said there was a bag hanging out of Ross's that I would want to see."
I gave a silent nod.
"Is something wrong?" Stormie questioned.
"I need to go talk to Ross. I will let you know." With that, I turned to find Ross.
I found Ross relatively quick. He was on the bus fixing his bunk.
"I need to talk to you." I said, coming up behind him.
