Chapter 15.

Y/n POV:

As me and Nat strutted out of the elevator arm in arm we saw Tony standing near the doors to the tower.
"Girls, we're taking two cars that are both out the front" Tony said whilst motioning outside,
"Perfect, thanks!" I waved whilst Nat lead me outside.
We stepped out of the air conditioned tower and into the glorious sunlight. I smiled, enjoying my day already before I caught site of two black stretch limousines. I sighed, classic Tony. We then saw the rest of the avenger standing in between the two cars,
"Hey guys" I said whilst walking me and Nat over to our group,
"Hey girls, so you two are gonna have to split up." Sam said whilst doing a headcount,
"What why!" Me and Nat said at the same time making Bucky chuckle,
"Because you two both won't fit when there's already even numbers" cap said gently, Nat pouted.
"Don't worry Nat it's just a 10 minute drive" I said reassuringly, whilst cap began to gently drag her to the other limousine. I spun around to see who I was riding with on the way to the beach, Bucky, Wanda, Tony, Thor and Loki. I did a double take on Loki and saw that he was leaning against the car staring at me. He was wearing black shorts and a grey t-shirt that you could see his abbs through. Maybe I was going to be the one drooling today.
I snapped out of my daze as everybody began hopping into the car, Loki pushed himself off the car with ease and extended a hand to help me climb into the limo.
"Thank you" I said smiling softly as a light blush spread across my cheeks,
"My pleasure darling" he said whilst climbing in after me.
I walked to the back of the limo and sat down on a two seater, Loki saw this and instantly sat beside me at the back. The blush darkened over my cheeks, so to hide it I surveyed where everyone else was sitting. Tony had opted to drive, Wanda was staring at the window at the front, Thor was busy raiding the mini fridge and Bucky was seated further up the limo on the left.
"I'm really excited" I said randomly making everybody chuckle,
"What? Aren't you guys?" I huffed whilst leaning back in my seat,
"Of course we are, but excited isn't the word to describe you right now" Tony laughed,
"More like 'just won't the lottery'" Bucky said whilst everybody in the car laughed, expect for Loki.
Loki had now sneakily swung his arm over the back of my car-seat. So he wasn't touching me but if I wasn't sitting in a limo, his arms would be around me. I smiled softly whilst looking over at him,
"Are you gonna swim today?" I said hopefully whilst turning to meet the two green eyes that were already staring back at me. Loki looked un-sure,
"It's fine you don't have to, it's not for everyone I just like it" I rambled,
"Clam down little one, I shall swim with you if that's what you wish" Loki said with a calming smile. I smiled back and scooched slightly closer to Loki. I grew bored and grabbed Loki's hand, Loki blushed,
"My love what are you doing-" Loki began,
"Trust me" I whispered whilst laying his hand in my lap. Loki's brow furrowed in confusion but let me keep his hand in my lap regardless. I smirked at his faith and me and began to play with his hand, squeezing his fingers and pinching his knuckles but he had no reaction to any of it besides laughing at me.
After 10 minutes of playing with Loki's hand in my lap we arrived at the beach. I smiled and jumped out of the car,
"Be careful doll" Bucky chuckled whilst steadying me as I almost lost balance,
"Sorry I'm just excited" I said whilst brushing myself off. I turned around to see Loki glaring holes into the back of Bucky's head.
"Lokes, come on" I ushered whilst keeping Loki from stabbing Bucky. Loki looked down at me and his glare softened. Our little moment didn't last long before the other limo full of rowdy avengers screeched up beside us.
"Let's hit the beach!" Nat cheered as we all walked down to the sand.
After a solid 5 minutes of Tony and Cap fighting over where to set up, Clint choose a nice half sunny half shady spot and we all dumped our stuff.
All the males began setting up tents whilst me and Nat stripped off our clothes. I felt a lot of eyes all over me and Nat as we revealed our swim suits.
I turned to look at Nat and saw her luscious red locks shining as the sun beamed down on her and her gorgeous body. I smiled at how beautiful my best friend is and how lovely she looks in her red bikini.
As I looked up all the avengers pretended to busy themselves and at like they weren't checking me and Nat out.
Loki stood amongst the avengers staring at me with a dark look in his eye. I blushed and turned around before I felt his presence behind me, how I knew it was him I couldn't tell you.
"You look absolutely ravishing darling" He whispered huskily,
"Th-thankyou" I stuttered turning around to look up at him,
"Let's go swimming!" Tony chanted and all the avengers began running down to the clam shores.
"Wanna swim lokes?" I said returning to the friendly familiar atmosphere I am used to, unlike the crazy sexual one,
"Let's go love" Loki said with a hesitant look,
"Come on" I laughed whilst grabbing his hand and running him to the water. Loki sighed but gave in began jogging behind me. We approached the shore and I ran straight in, dropping Loki's hand in the process.
"Uh Uh Uh wait little one" Loki said grabbing my by the waist and hauling me into the air, lucky I choose the full piece swim suit or their would have been a serious wardrobe malfunction.
"Heyyyyyy!! Put me down" I said slapping his chest playfully,
"As you wish my lady" he winked before dropping me, I screamed but before I hit the shallow water I was scooped up into a bridal hold.
"That's mean" I pouted up at Loki, Loki looked down at my lips and paused. For a moment everything stopped, my heart rate went through the roof.
Is he going to kiss me?!? Omg, does my breath stink? I'm gonna faint, kiss me already!!

"Y/n!! Get your little ass in here!" Nat screamed,
"Nat!!" I yelled with an embarrassed blush whilst Loki let me slowly slide out of his arms and to stand in the ankle deep water. Loki stabilised me by grabbing my waist and a little on my ass, I chose to believe it was an accident but something about Nats comment and Loki's smirk told me otherwise.
"Coming!" I yelled whilst walking through the water, Loki began to follow but made a loud hiss.
I turned to see Loki's face scrunched up and his fists balled tightly,
"What lokes?" I laughed,
"It's freezing!" He responded high pitched,
"Aren't you a frost giant?" I giggled,
"Yes but wow midguardian temperatures" Loki shook his head before slowly catching up to me in waist deep water, well for Loki waist deep for me neck.
Eventually we both were out swimming with the other avengers. Loki wasn't exactly swimming he was more watching me and teasing me.
I giggled and went under the water and Canuck up behind him.
"When will you learn little one that you can't sneak up on the god of mischief" Loki smirked with his back to me, I laughed and jumped on his back.
"At least get you hair wet pretty boy" I laughed whilst trying to pull him under, leaning all my weight back in attempts to get his hair wet.
"What did you just say?" Loki said sounding intrigued,
"At least get you hair wet?" I said,
"No after that" he smiled over his shoulder at me whilst hooking his arms under my legs to stabilise me in a piggy back.
"Pretty boy?" I said softly, almost a whisper in his ear,
"Yeah that, I like that" he smiled amused,
"Of course you do pretty boy" I said slowly. I was so wrapped up in my moment with Loki I forget all about the other avengers just a couple feet from us.
"Hey Loki good idea, guys chicken fight!" Sam said excitedly, Loki looked up confused and I looked over his shoulder.
"Oh no guys Loki doesn't want me on his shoulders" I began but Loki was soon quick to realise what chicken fights are as avengers paired up into each other shoulder and began battling other pairs.
Loki put me down and threw me up to sit on his shoulders,
"Don't tell me what I don't want" loki laughed whilst looking up at me,
"Loki put me down, I'm heavy and I don't want to smother you with my thighs" I grumbled as I tried to slide off his shoulders,
"My love, don't down talk yourself like that and I'm doubting you actually trust me" loki said sternly,
"I do trust you I just don't want to hurt you" I said whilst pulling his hair out of his eyes as he looked up at me,
"Angel no offence but you couldn't hurt me if you wanted to" Loki chuckled, I smacked his forehead but laughed as well. As Loki walked us over to Thor who currently had Sam on his shoulders, I ran my hand through my hair to feel it knotted and messy,
"Oh my goodness Loki you didn't tell me I looked like a rat" I groaned whilst trying to tame my hair,
"You never look like such things, you look stunning" Loki said seriously,
"Mhhhh sure" I mumbled as we squared off with Thor and sam. I grabbed sams hands and Thor and Loki began clashing heads,
"Fight!!" Sam screamed and we began duelling,
I began pushing sam backwards as Loki managed to buckle Thor's knees.
Sam and Thor quickly fell down into the water and me and Loki remained standing,
"Woooohoooo!" I cheered and high-fived Loki,
Loki smirked and went fully under wetting his hair and pulling me down with him. As I was underwater, Loki's grip loosened and I swam away from his clutches.
I re-emerged form the water and began running back to shore, I heard Loki's grunt of disapproval and splashing footsteps were soon chasing after me.
I made it to the sand before long muscular arms wrapped around me,
"Lokiiiiiii" I laughed whilst he began walking us back to where we're set up on the beach,
"You dare to run from me little one" he teased,
"Yes!" I laughed managing to wriggle out of his grip and take off back to the water.
"Oh no you don't!" Loki shouted whilst pulling me to lie down on our towels. As I fell to the ground Loki acted as a human cushion and made sure I landed softly.
"You are something else pretty boy" I laughed whilst rolling off of him and onto my soft green towel.
"Look who's talking" came his fast reply. I giggled making Loki crack a jaw dropping smile.
"Oh I almost forgot!" I said sitting up and rummaging through my beach bag until I found the two books I packed.
"I usually like to read when I'm at the beach so I bought you a book because I thought you might like to as well" I smiled whilst extending my hand with a copy of Harry Potter towards him.
Loki looked frozen and shocked, he didn't move and stared at me mouth agape,
"It's fine if not" I retracted my hand quickly,
"You thought of me?" Loki with a teary gleam in his eyes,
"Of course lokes" I beamed and placed the book in his lap whilst shuffling to sit beside him. I ignored the look Loki was giving me like I was the most precious thing on earth and opened my book and began reading, letting this feeling of sunlight soak my skin. As well as the tingly feeling that came with being snuggled up beside the god of mischief at the beach.
