Chapter 29.

Loki POV:

I kicked the door down, high on adrenaline and running on anger. I could hear my angels screams from outside of the HYDRA base. The avengers split up and invaded a different section of the base. The avengers captured all of the workers that are now being transported back to cells at Shield. If I thought I was angry before I kicked the door down, it was nothing compared to the rage filling me at the fight before my eyes.
My Babygirl, my Angel, my sunshine was strapped to an electrocution chair, wearing a thick black collar making me growl. How dare they leash her, let alone touch her. She was still in the remains of her school uniform but her body was littered with bruises and open wounds but that wasn't the worst of it.
The light of my life, her face, her eyes were dull. She looked as though her soul had been taken from her. It left an unsettling ache on my heart and it hurt deeply to see her this way. I roared in rage turning to the two pathetic HYRDA scum operating the machine. I lunged at the one holding a remote control but it was too late and the machine activated and I watched as the electrical current began to flow through y/n at 10,000 volts. I forgot about the agents as they scrambled from the room and I summoned two daggers. I hurried to stab the remote control, shutting down the machine making me sigh. I turned my head to see Y/n hanging limp in the chair as the restraints were removed off her body.
"Y/N!!" I screamed letting fear consume my voice as I ran over to her. Her eyes were drooping and she wasn't responding.
Next thing you know Thor burst into the room, hammer at the ready until he met my fearful eyes and crashed to his knees by my side.
"Y/n wake up! I don't like this!" Thor yelled tapping her cheek to keep her awake.
"We need to get her back to the jet we're Dr banner is" I grunted whilst pulling her into my arms, it stung slightly to touch her and veery hair on my body stood on end but I kept a firm hold of her before teleporting back to the Quinjet.
"Banner! Y/n she needs help!!!" I said whilst appearing in the medical room of the jet and laying my sleeping beauty down on the table.
"What happened?!" Bruce yelled whilst checking her pulse and rushing to get a defibrillator. I noticed his neck was turning slightly green,
"Calm down banner, y/n was electrocuted, she needs Bruce right now, not hulk" I explained as I saw him fighting for control until Bruce won.
"Thank you Loki" he said sincerely before starting up the defibrillator and taking a step back.
"All clear!" Bruce yelled before resuscitating y/n back to life. I stood by her side and held her hand whilst refusing to leave as the avengers slowly filed into the quinjet. Thor came and stood by my side and held onto y/n's other hand and we recited an ancient Asgardian prayer. Eventually stark entered the jet carrying the unconscious spider boy who also seemed medical attention. Bruce rushed over to him whilst I took over.
Apparently the team had arrested and sent all of the agents to holding cells in shield for further investigation. For once I was grateful for Bucky who had managed to beat some sense into the two agents who snuck off when I found y/n.
Doctor Banner had managed to get y/n's heart rate normal and breathing rate average but now it was up to me healing abilities. I used my magic to heal her open wounds from what looked like whips marks and burns from fire. Thor carefully removed the collar from her neck making both me and my brother gasp.
On my angels neck were deep electrocution burn marks. I instantly placed my glowing hands on her neck and managed to heal it the best I could. The open wound closed over leaving small scars crossing her neck. Tears stung my eyes as I assessed my darlings body, she was covered in bruises which would only heal with time and small scars that would serve as a permeant reminder.
All I could do now was stay by her side and appreciate her beauty no matter what she looked like.
"She will be okay brother" Thor stated knowingly,
"She's gonna be okay" I repeated, trying to convince myself that what I was saying was true. But as I looked at her bruised and battered form, all I could think to say to her now would be..
