Chapter 22.

Y/n POV:

After 2 hours of gym cardio with Bucky I was dead. As I was doing my last set Bucky rested his hand on the lower back to guide me to the ground and back up before the sound of a door slamming open was heard. We both froze and I looked up to be met with Loki standing at the door looking angry. His eyes travelled down my body and stopped where Buckys hand was still resting on my back. Bucky coughed awkwardly,
"Good work today doll" Bucky said dropping his hand to take the weights out of my hands making me sigh in relief.
"Thanks" I sighed whilst sitting down and rubbing my arms, whilst Loki walked towards us looking angry.
"Bye y/n" Bucky said whilst shuffling out of the gym, I managed a wave before Loki was stood in front of me.
"Hi lokes" I said looking up at him with a smile,
"Hi darling" Loki said sternly,
"How has your day been?" I said standing up,
"Was he touching you the entire time?" Loki asked annoyance clear in his voice,
"What, No of course not" I said quickly, eager to keep him calm.
"Good." Loki said sounding relived, I brushed off his odd behaviour,
"Are you ready for some training?" Loki smirked, seeming back to his usual, mischievous self.
"Other than my legs and arms not working, yes" I laughed and stood up whilst walking over to the sparring mat.
"I'll go easy on you okay love?" Loki said,
"Bring it on pretty boy" I smiled at him, Loki laughed and actually came at me. He attempted to punch my stomach but I dodged out of the way and swung my left arm into his ribs, not even hurting him slightly. I could feel he was going soft on me because of his slow punches which have ample time for me to dodge, it was almost like he really didn't want to hit me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw loki trying to grab me but I ducked and swiped under his legs, making his legs buckle.
I smirked in victory as he fell to the ground and I did what Nat always taught me, I straddled him and pinned his arms above his head. Loki looked up at me,
"Very good little one" he praised making me smile. I blushed when I realised the sexual position we were currently in and scurried off him quickly.
"Though when the enemy try's to punch you never dodge but always block the blow" Loki explained softly like an amazing teacher,
"And then use the momentum of the punch to either flip or disarm your opponent" Loki said with a smile as I nodded.
"Alright, ready for round 2?" Loki quizzed whilst jumping to his feet like an agile big cat.
He began circling me and just as I was about to lunge at him he duplicated, and again, and again until I was surrounded by 12 Loki's all exactly the same. I paused and turned in a full circle trying to decipher which Loki was real and what ones were his illusions.
"I have never been more confused and scared" I joked whilst touching all the Loki's and watching them evaporate as my fingers made contact with their clothing. Loki gave up trying to fight me and let me feel through his illusions from wherever he was. I reached a point where it was just two Loki's left both smirking at me handsomely. I leaned my hand, palm up against what I thought was an illusions chest but it turned out to be the real Loki making me look up in surprise and wonder.
Loki laughed at my expression and nodded at me whilst leaving my hand on his chest,
"Yes Angel it's me" he laughed whilst letting his other illusion disintegrate.
"Wow" I marvelled,
"I shall teach you to see through illusions" Loki said softly whilst sitting me on the ground and squatting beside me,
"How? You all looked identical?" I questioned,
"Well you see darling an illusion is 0.25 milliseconds slower than whoever casted it, for example" loki said standing up and duplicating himself in two.
"This is the real me" loki said whilst waving at me, but the closer I watched the real Loki wave, I noticed the other Loki was slightly off timing.
"Oh I see, so instead of hitting each illusion I can watch to see who is the fastest" I smiled whilst also standing up,
"Brilliant, Now let's try with more illusions" Loki smiled whilst surrounding me in a circle of Loki's.
I stayed quiet and surveyed my surroundings spotting for whatever Loki was the quickest. All Loki's took a step forward and that's when I lunge at the real Loki. I tackled him and straddled him once more, pinning his arms above my head.
"Good girl" Loki cooed from under me, I blushed whilst letting go of his hands.
"My darling you look exhausted" loki said whilst cupping my cheeks in his palms,
"Why thank you" I said sarcastically,
"That not what I meant Angel, it means I think we are done for today" loki said with a smile,
"Thank goodness" I sighed, out of tiredness I laid down on his chest, fully lying on top of him on the floor of the gym.
"As much as I love this position, we need to get you up to your room to rest" loki said with a chuckle,
"Mmm no" I mumbled into his chest, eyes closed,
"Don't make this harder than this has to be" Loki said whilst sitting up, making me snuggle into his chest more,
"Fine, just because that's adorable" loki smirked whilst picking me up and walking us out of the gym. My legs were locked around his waist and my arms around his neck whilst he was supporting me under my thighs and holding me securely to his chest.
If I wasn't so tired I would've enjoyed this moment but I remained with my eyes closed leaning into Loki's chest as he carried me into my room.
Loki entered my room carrying me, being a pro for the amount of times he's done it. He laid me down in my bed and covered me up in blankets making me smile with my eyes still closed.
"Brother!" Thor's bellowing voice yelled, making me pout half asleep,
"Go back to sleep baby girl I'll deal with him" loki cooed, I don't know if I imagined him calling me baby but I shrugged it off and relaxed in my bed.
"Brother!" Thor called whilst walking past my room,
"Quiet oaf! I am in here" loki whisper yelled,
"Oh, what are you doing in lady y/n's room-" Thor began but cut himself off when he saw me half asleep in bed,
"Shush, you will wake her" Loki said whilst standing up from where he sat on my bed to drag Thor out of my room and shut the door behind them.
"What?" I heard Loki say impatiently,
"I came looking for you, I received a message from Hemidal" Thor said sounding serious,
"Go on" Loki said,
"Father requests to see you in a couple weeks time back in Asgard" Thor said,
"Do you know what it's about?" Loki asked,
"No I don't brother, but what about lady y/n?" Thor said softly,
"That's what I'm worried about" Loki said sounding stressed,
"Well I leave you to rest brother, I shall speak with you shortly" Thor said before his heavy footsteps thudded away.
