Loki's Lover

Chapter 9.

Y/n POV:
As I walked out the school gates I scanned the parking lot for my tall raven haired god but didn't see him.
Wait did I just call him my god? Oh no I'm falling way too fast for someone who doesn't like me back.
I went and sat down on a nearby bench as kids flooded from the school gates. I looked around and still saw no signs of him. Suddenly I got a call, I looked down expecting the caller ID to be Loki but to my surprise it was Tony.
"Hey Tony" I said happily,
"Kid! We need you back at the tower ASAP, Reindeer games got injured" Tony said quickly,
"WHAT!! You didn't tell me there was a battle, I would've left school!" I said panicked,
"Talk later tiger, we need you now" before the line went dead. I huffed and began sprinting home, my backpack hitting my back with each step. After 10 minutes of pure flat out sprinting I arrived at the tower, puffed and out of breath. I ran to the elevator and caught my breath on the way up to the 79h floor, the healing wing.
I jogged from the elevator and burst through the doors of the healing wing,
"Where is he!?" I yelled, surveying the avengers  standing around a hospital bed with Loki lying on it. He had a drip in his arm and he was bruised, scratched and bloody. I gasped and ran over to stand over him,
"Lady y/n thank Odin you are here" Thor said whilst standing worriedly over his brother,
"You can help him right babe?" Nat said softly,
"Everybody out except Thor" I said firmly yet nicely, everybody obeyed and Thor took a sat by the bed.
"This is gonna take a lot of energy but he's worth it" I mumbled to myself.

I placed my hands on Loki's bare chest as I let Thor strip him of his chest armour. Even though he was injured I wasn't in any place to touch him like that.
I gathered up all my strength after a long tiring day at school and pushed my white healing aura to my palms. Thor watched in awe as I placed the angelic white glow onto his brothers chest.
I directed my power to his injuries and they healed with rapid speed. I healed him until all that was left was a few bruises and a small cut above his lip.
"He's gonna be okay" I said to Thor whilst removing my hands and returning my power from my palms.
"Thank you lady y/n" Thor said rounding the bed and picking me up into a tight hug,
"Your welcome Thor, and now I'm really tired so I'm gonna head to bed" I yawned whilst patting Thor on the shoulder,
"Would you like me to escort you to your chambers?" He said gentlemanly,
"That's okay Thor, just call me down when he wakes up" I said with a tired smile before leaving the healing wing.
On my way out, I took one last look at Loki, laying still yet peaceful with Thor by his side. I smiled lovingly before catching the elevator back up to my floor.
Once I got into my room I had a shower and got into my pajamas before climbing into my cold bed. After an exhausting and power draining day I let the emotions and feeling flow. I felt wet tears sliding down my face as the heaviness of possibly losing Loki wash over me. He's gonna be okay, I kept repeating in my head over and over until I believed it. I didn't take long to fall asleep and I was soon in dream land.

I woke up with a stretch and opened my eyes. Last day of school before the weekend. Friday, my favourite day of the week. I got out of bed and got dressed with speed and headed down to the kitchen.
"Morning hugs" I said happily whilst going around to each avenger in the kitchen and giving them a hug.
"I love your Friday hugs" Bucky said whilst squeezing me to his chest,
"Watch out, you might break her" Sam said worriedly whilst giving me a much softer hug. I laughed before turning to Tony.
"Now, I didn't have the chance yesterday but now I do. Why didn't you call me when you were heading into battle so I could prepare for a possible injury?" I lectured,
"Tiger, it was supposed to be an easy HYDRA base take down but it turned out someone miscalculated the guards out front" Tony said grumpily,
"Hey don't look at me" Clint defended,
"I was never good at math" Clint huffed.
"Fine, but next time" I said whilst giving Tony a hug,
"Next time y/n" he said smiling.
"Is Loki okay?" Nat said walking up beside me whilst wiggling her eyebrows,
"I'm gonna go check on him soon" I blushed,
Nat laughed at my bashful behaviour and whipped my but with the tea towel she was holding.
"You are gross, he doesn't like me like that" I whispered to her,
"When will you open your eyes" she grumbled before starting to make breakfast. After I had given my Friday hug to everyone in the room Thor came running into the kitchen looking tired after a night with no sleep.
"Y/n! He is waking" he said with a smile, and with that I took off running beside Thor towards the healing wing. As we entered Loki stirred slightly in his sleep.
I went and took a seat beside the bed with Thor on the other side. Loki looked well rested and a lot better than yesterday.
With a few grumbles Loki's eyes finally opened. He looked around confused and tried to sit up,
"Woah, slow down there" I said reaching out and helping him sit up properly,
"Y/n!" Loki said looking happy and relived which warmed my heart, he took my hand and tugged me closer to the bed,
"Hi lokes" I said with a smile,
"What happened?" Loki said looking around still confused,
"We went on a HYDRA mission but a guard snuck up on you and knocked you unconscious" Thor said sadly,
"What are you doing here oaf?" Loki said just now noticing his brothers presence,
"Loki" I said upset at his tone, I let go of his hand and went and stood next to a very tired Thor.
"Your brother has been here all night watching over you" I said whilst giving Thor a smile,
"Why?" Loki said,
"Because when you were unconscious, one of the HYDRA agents recognised you from New York and gave you a cruel beating, and when we returned to the tower, we needed y/n to heal you" Thor said softly,
"Wait...how did y/n get home yesterday?" Loki said slowly,
"I uh ran home as soon as Tony called" I reassured him whilst walking back over to his side,
"Ran home! Alone?" Loki said sitting up on full alert,
"Hey lokes I'm fine, I'm right here just relax" I said pushing him to lie back down,
"You were not protected! Wait, how much power did you use on me?" Loki said looking at me this time,
"Enough for you to have one days rest" I said tight lipped,
"Is that why you went to bed earlier because of your power being drained or was it from school?" Thor said in thought,
"What?" Loki said angrily,
"Thor??" I said,
"Oops sorry y/n" he said guilty,
"You should not have drained your healing power on me y/n" Loki strictly,
"Your saying it like I wasted it" I said with a frown,
"My love, it's my job to protect you" he said with a huff,
"And it's my job to heal you, whether you want it or not. You were injured and I care about you so I healed you." I said firmly,
Loki looked into my eyes and then down at my lips, for a second I thought he was gonna kiss me,
"Thor leave" Loki said bluntly,
"A thankyou Thor would be nice" I said,
"Thank you thor" Loki sighed, Thor beamed.
"Well I have to get to school so I'll see you guys this afternoon?" I said whilst picking up my school bag. It was like Loki didn't realise I was in my school uniform until now.
Loki tried to stand up from the hospital bed but Thor held him down because even with all my strength I couldn't.
"I must walk y/n to school" Loki said trying to shove Thor away.
"No Loki, you need to rest" Thor said firmly,
"He's right, I'll be fine and we can hang out this afternoon lokes" I said whilst leaning over to give him a hug. Loki in a flash had his arms around me in a strong grip and pulled me to sit on the bed beside him.
"Who took my shirt off?" Loki said with a smirk, I blushed as I looked down at his chiseled abbs before looking away.
"I got Thor to undress you before I healed you" I said whilst looking down embarrassed,
"Ugh" Loki grimaced, whilst Thor laughed,
"Sorry it wasn't y/n Loki, she respected you while you were unconscious" Thor laughed, I coughed and somehow went redder. I wrapped my arms around Loki's shoulders,
"Bye Loki" I said whilst smiling in the hug,
"At least let Thor walk you to school" loki said softly,
"You know before you came I walked every day on my own" I said,
"Please?" Loki pleaded with puppy dog eyes,
"Dammit, I cannot say no to that face" I said whilst patting his cheek with my hand whilst he laughed.
I looked over to Thor who was smiling tiredly,
"Loki Thor's really tired, he watched over you last night, how about I walk with someone else and let Thor sleep" I said softly as not to anger loki. I saw Thor sigh in relief at the chance to sleep for a couple hours,
"Who else?" Loki said flatly,
"I'll go with Bucky?" I said politely,
"No. Anybody but him" loki said quickly,
"Uhhh, I'll get cap to walk me" I said smiling softly, loki pondered for a moment and then agreed.
"I will see you after school y/n" loki said whilst capturing me in another hug,
"Bye lokes" I said softly,
"Goodbye darling" he whispered in my ear before I began to untangle myself from him and begin to walk from the room.
