Loki's Lover

Chapter 4.

Y/n POV
I swear I felt sparks when Loki rested his knee against mine. I have observed he is quiet and sarcastic around others but around me he is charming and trusting.
As my cheeks shaded a rosy pink I could see Natasha giving me a look. Here's the thing about Natasha; she's my best friend but we are polar opposites, she also can read me like a book. I didn't want to get up from where me and Loki's legs where touching but I began to collect the dishes to wash up.
"Y/n I'll wash up with you" Natasha said getting up and collecting plates as well. I saw out of the corner of my eye loki physically deflate only slightly, but I brushed it off.
Once me and Nat had got all the plate's we began washing up.
"Soooooo are you gonna tell me what happened this afternoon or what" nat said,
"He just helped me with my nose and then offered to cook dinner with me" I said nonchalantly.
"There's more I can tell" nat said smirking,
"Dammit why can't I just have a poker face" I said frustratedly,
"It's because I know you to well, now spill" she laughed, I smiled softly,
"He so nice, and gentlemanly you know. And he has been calling me things like darling and love but I don't think he actually likes me like that, and I've only known him for less than 10 hours and I just think I've-"
"Fallen head over heels for him?" Nat finished,
"Yes" I sighed,
"Of course he likes you, can't you see how your the only ones he talks to and smiles at besides his brother!" Nat says,
"That doesn't mean anything" I deflect her comment,
"He likes you." Nat says wiggling her eyebrows as we finished the dishes,
"Whatever" I laughed as we exited the kitchen.
We walked out into the living room to find all the avengers watching The lion King on Tony's massive TV. I smiled and searched the room for loki but he wasn't here.
"Hey guys where's Loki?" I asked,
"In his room lady y/n" Thor said smiling,
"Thanks thor" I said before heading up to Loki's room.
As I approached his room I smiled at the fact that it's directly next to mine. I knocked softly against his door and waited for a reply. The door swung open and there stood loki, not in his armour but in a causal grey shirt and some loose black tracksuits. I lost my vocabulary so all I spluttered out was
"Hey"
"Hello darling" he smiled down at me whilst leaning against his door.
"I was downstairs when I noticed you weren't here so I came to check on you" I said quickly,
"I just came to have a shower" Loki smirked motioning to his wet hair,
"I can see that" I giggled whilst reaching out to touch his hair, I retracted my hand quickly
"I'm sorry that was invasive and rude" I said whilst scolding myself,
"My love, relax, here" Loki said bending down ever so slightly and grabbing hand. I smiled as he ran it through his wet hair,
"It's so shiny" I whispered in awe of his midnight black hair,
"Why are you whispering" he whispered,
"I don't know" I whisper-laughed,
"Can I show you something?" Loki asked, straightening up as I pulled my hand away.
"What is it?" I asked curiously,
"So curious little one, do you trust me?" Loki questioned,
"Yes" I replied, surprised with my fast reaction,
"Then come with me" he said whilst grabbing my hand and leading me through his room.
I admired his room, a green/Forrest vibe with an empty bookshelf and a large king sized bed. He pulled me through his room and out onto his balcony of the 81st floor of the avengers tower.
"You see that star constellation" Loki whispered in my ear, pointing up to a unique looking star pattern.
"It's beautiful" I whispered into the silent breathy air ignoring the grip Loki has on my shoulders from behind me,
"That darling is the Ursa Major also known as the Great Bear, is the most famous of all constellations, thanks to its most famous feature, the Big Dipper, which makes up roughly half of the Ursa Major constellation."Loki recited,
"Look at you, you know your constellations" I said turning around to face him. He gave a sly smirk before turning down to look at me.
"So you are a healer?" Loki asked,
"Yes I am" I smiled whilst pushing my white healing glow from my palms.
"Incredible" Loki whispered,
"Hahaha thank you" I laughed at his child like wonder,
"But you cannot heal yourself is that correct?" He asked,
"Smarty, but yes I can only heal others, that's why I am sometimes brought on missions where someone is likely to get injured." I state
"But they protect you in battle right?" Loki said angrily,
"Yes of course" I say, eager to keep him calm,
"Darling" Loki said,
"Lokes" I said,
"Lokes?" Loki said confused,
"I think it's a cute nickname but if you don't like it-" I began,
"I love it" Loki finished smiling at me, his pale face glowing in the moonlight.
"I wanted to ask you," he said,
"Yes.." I whispered,
"If you would like to accompany me on a walk tomorrow?" He asked timidly,
"Of course I would" I said excitedly, hiding any emotions of sadness that Loki wasn't asking me out. Get a grip y/n, he doesn't like you. I told myself.
"But.." I said sadly,
"But?" Loki said matching my sad tone,
"I have school tomorrow" I said looking down at my feet, I felt like I had disappointed Loki, and that's not a feeling I like.
"Don't worry little one we can make it work" he said whilst lifting my chin to grant him eye contact.
"How about you walk me to school?" I chirped,
"Excellent idea, what time shall we leave?" He said sounding energetic,
"I usually leave at 7:30am so I get there by 8:00am cause it's only a couple blocks away." I said smiled up at his beautiful green eyes staring back at me.
"I will be at your door at 7:20am" Loki replied formally, as we both left his balcony and re-entered his room.
Loki's room felt so comfortable and safe, I don't know why but I get the same warm feeling in my chest as when I was in his arms earlier today.
Loki walked me out of his room and to my door.
"Well thank you for a wonderful evening" I said with a bashful smile,
"Sweet dreams darling y/n" Loki said bending over to kiss the back of my palm, I giggled at his old fashioned behaviour.
"Goodnight lokes" I said feeling bold, I reached up onto my tippy toes and planted a gentle kiss on his soft pale cheek. I could physically see Loki's eyes physically soften at my action and his hand reached up to cup his cheek, as though my lips were still there.
I blushed and opened my door and entered my room before shutting my door. I eventually heard Loki's door close before I went into my bathroom, had a shower and got into some warm p.j's. I ran and dove under the covers of my bed and fell asleep smiling.
