Loki's Lover

Chapter 8.

Y/n POV:

I woke up to my alarm blaring loudly. I jumped out of bed and turned of my alarm.
"Dammit" I said annoyed. I ran straight to my bathroom and stripped off my clothes before jumping into the shower. I was in quite a bad mood this morning, I over slept and to find out that I wasn't really being held by the mysterious person in my dream last night made me a little cranky.
I realised I forgot to bring in my school uniform and I sighed, I wrapped a towel around my dripping wet body before opening my bathroom door. I walked straight over to my wardrobe to get changed but the atmosphere of my usually relaxed room had changed. I turned my head to find Loki frozen in his spot only 5 steps away from me.
"Ahhh!" I yelled gripping my short bath towell tighter,
"Y/n I am so sorry, I Uh" Loki stuttered whilst staring at me,
"Do you need something?" I said whilst taking a few steps back to pick up my uniform.
"Uh I, was coming to see if you where ready for school and you didn't answer so I came in and" Loki explained,
"It's okay lokes, I'll be out in a second" I said with an understanding smile,
"Yes of course love" he said whilst lowering his head and walking out. I blushed and quickly got changed before grabbing my school bag and walking out my door. Loki was leaning against the hallway and looked up upon my door opening,
"Good morning" I said with a faint blush coating my cheeks,
"Good morning darling, I am sorry for entering you room without your permission" Loki said sorrowfully,
"Hey, it's okay, and I appreciate your concern because I did oversleep" I said embarrassed,
"Thats good my love you needed rest" he said with a soft smile,
"And also I'm sorry I fell asleep last night, but what happened?" I said whilst fidgeting with my fingers, Loki noticed this and held both of my hands to calm me,
"Relax Angel, you fell asleep around 8:30pm so I tucked you in and left you to sleep" he said with a smile,
"Really? Wow...thanks" I said blushing once more whilst looking down,
"Look at me love, I wanna see those rosy coloured cheeks of yours" he teased,
"Your mischievous this morning aren't you" I said tilting my head to look up with a faint blush,
"What can I say?" He said whilst letting go of my hands and beginning to walk down the hallway, I laughed and walked along beside him. We entered the kitchen to find only Thor.
"Morning Thor" I said whilst walking over to him and giving him a high five.
"Lady y/n" he says,
"Where were you to last night?" Thor smirked,
"None of your business" Loki snapped,
"We were in my room, relaxing" I said softly, whilst walking over to the fridge and getting out my lunch.
"Thank you y/n" Thor smiled and then left the room,
"Why are you so nice to my brother?" Loki says whilst staring at me,
"I prefer to be nice to everyone" I said whilst eating a banana,
"Such an Angel" Loki says boldly whilst staring me up and down,
"Your not so bad yourself" I giggled with a blush,
"You never fail to make me smile" Loki says,
"You never fail to fluster me" I said whilst zipping up my backpack and walking towards the exit. Loki laughed at this and then jogged after me.
"It's quite a hobby of mine love" he said whilst taking my backpack from me,
"I can carry it." I said whilst actually manage to grab it from him,
"Let go darling" he said sternly,
"Your impossible" I sighed whilst submitting and letting go of the bag.

We left the tower and began walking down the side street. It wasn't busy on the sidewalk today but Loki still held my hand and I didn't mind. We walked hand in hand all the way to school.
"What's your favourite colour?" I said as we walked,
"Green, you?" He replied,
"Mine is f/c, what's your favourite desert?" I asked,
"What's a desert?" Loki said looking down at me with a frown,
"You've never had desert?!" I said completely shocked,
"No love" he said with a small smile,
"Tonight I am making you desert after dinner" I said motivated,
"I'm looking forward to it" he said with a grin,
"Yay!" I said excitedly, and just like that we were out the front of my school.
"These walks are to short" Loki said with a pout,
"Don't worry, we can hang out all weekend" I said with a bright smile,
"That's good my love" he said happily,
"I don't wanna be late" I said whilst looking at the school gates beside me,
"Do you have to go?" Loki said with puppy dog eyes,
"Don't give my those eyes" I said slightly caving, instead of talking I wrapped my arms around Loki's torso. An affectionate gesture that now felt normal to do. Loki's reply was instant and his long strong arms were caging me to his chest in milliseconds.
"I will see you after school" I said into his chest,
"I will be waiting" I heard him say before I felt a kiss being pressed to the top of my head. I stilled for a second, surprised at the romantic gesture but smiled. I blushed hard and pulled away from the hug. Loki kept his arms around me.
"Bye lokes" I said with a giggle, trying to get out of his strong hold. He eventually sighed and let go of me.
"Bye Angel" he said sadly, I turned around and began walking into school.
