"keiji-chaaan!" oikawa's voice rang, his arms stretching out in a hug as he ran towards akaashi.

a look of disgust overcame akaashi's face as he sidestepped oikawa's attempt at a hug. oikawa soon stopped running when he realized he had ran past the other.

"that was mean keiji-chan and you know it," oikawa sniffled, sulkily walking towards his friend.

"you know i don't like hugs," akaashi muttered.

"but i do," oikawa pouted.

the supermodel had just landed in tokyo the other day when he had received the text from akaashi. oikawa at first refused saying he wasn't looking for a gig at the moment until akaashi had to remind him that he owed him big time. and with that, oikawa agreed to the other's terms of coming and working on the set.

"i haven't seen you in so long, i think i deserve a hug," the brown haired male persisted.

"i think you deserve more like a kick to the ass but that's all i'm willing to give you."

"well, i guess i'm glad you haven't changed at all, still the mean old keiji," oikawa teased, an arm slinging over the other.

akaashi shook his head, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. he wasn't going to admit, certainly not to oikawa, but akaashi had missed the older in the time they've been apart. the last time akaashi has seen oikawa was at a versace event held in tokyo last year, and even then he didn't really see oikawa as he was too busy with after party events.

when they first went their separate ways at the age of 18, it was odd not seeing oikawa as the two were practically brothers. they grew up together due to their families being close friends, but they mostly bonded due to their shared struggles. the two seemed to be shunned by the world around them, whether that was their parents or their classmates. it was almost like the world seemed to reject the idea of the two. but that didn't matter to akaashi, because he had oikawa and oikawa had him, and that's all they needed.

"so, what do i even have to do?" oikawa asked.

"i don't know, do what you do best and look pretty i guess," akaashi shrugged.

"well that i can do."

akaashi laughed at his comment. "here, i'll have you meet the head of the shoot and he can talk to you about it," he said leading him to where kohona stood.

akaashi quickly introduced the two, leaving them to their own devices. bokuto walked over to stand beside him.

"i still can't believe you know oikawa tooru...and you never even told me," he said shaking his head in disbelief.

"i didn't think it was important to bring up until now," akaashi smiled.

they watched as kohona directed oikawa to hair and make-up. they were wasting no time to get started as it only took about a full hour to get oikawa's hair, makeup, and attire done. soon enough the photographer began snapping pictures, the bright light of the camera filling the room. kohona shouted directions from the sidelines, whether that be for hair and makeup to fix a stray hair of oikawa's or directly telling him how to pose.

"i knew oikawa was a top class model but god he seems to be a natural at this," bokuto said stunned watching him in action.

akaashi hummed in agreement, "it's like he was born for this, he has such a natural beauty to him it's almost sickening."

they watched oikawa as he posed in various extravagant positions.

"i have to ask, though you don't have to answer if you don't want to."

akaashi's eyes glanced over to bokuto's.

"why were you so against the idea of modeling? it's just that i don't think i've ever seen you raise your voice before so it kind of came as a shock to me. not that it's your fault, me and kohona were being assholes. i'm just curious if there was a reason why."

akaashi's eyes turned back to watch oikawa. he had changed his pose from the last time akaashi had his eyes on him.

"i...don't know. camera shy i guess," he gave a chuckle.

"mm that's fair, lots of people don't feel comfortable in front of a camera. though if i had a face as pretty as yours i wouldn't feel the need to be camera shy."

akaashi felt his face heat up at the comment. it was nonchalant and casual, but it felt all the same profound to akaashi. he wasn't sure why, he had many people compliment him throughout his life for his looks. but coming from bokuto...something felt different about it.
