When the three slid into the parlours booth ice cream in hand a extreme awkward silence flooded the air, Phoebe knew it would be awkward but never knew it would be this awkward and thankfully Nancy spoke up.
"So Eddie, what's this little group you've got going? Mike loves it." She sweetly smiled taking a lick of her chocolate ice cream.
Phoebe nervously took a lick of her own, rocky road, her favourite. Eddie made a mental note to remember that small detail if it was ever needed.
"Yeah i run campaigns and shit.. Oh uh stuff for DnD i'm pretty passionate about it really, that's why i get called a freak. I think it also has something to do with the metal head exterior." He joked, Phoebe let out a laugh and Nancy giggled lowly.
"Yeah, you used to play with Mike and the boys didn't you Pheebs?"
Eddies eyes lit up at this and she just went a shade of red quickly nodding "I wouldn't say i joined in i teased them, Dustin and Lucas seemed to enjoy my company, Will and Mike not so much though. They hated it. Mike always has a feeling i'm going to embarrass him."
"Yeah because you do!" Nancy laughed, Phoebe shook her head laughing.
"So you joining hellfire then?" Eddie joked.
"Not a chance in hell Munson." She whispered winking at him.
Nancy noticed during they're time together that Eddie always looked at Phoebe when she wasn't looking, it was like he was mesmerising every single one of her features and if Phoebe didn't know how she felt for Eddie, Nancy certainly knew Eddie thought of her much more then a friend.
And there he was doing it again, watching the rise and fall of her chest as she laughed along to something he said completely forgetting the presence of the other Wheeler twin. Nancy knew in that moment that Eddie is just what Phoebe needed to feel happy again.
"Ok you two." She announced standing up from her spot "I'm going to go home. I've got to call Jonathon soon."
Phoebe nodded sliding awkwardly past Eddie and hugging her sister "He's good Phoebe." She whispered.
"I told you." She smirked as they stepped back "No phone sex please i'll be home soon!"
Nancy rolled her eyes leaving the parlour "Oh no you won't.." Eddie smirked pulling out a joint from his pocket "We've got business to get to."

The pair were now sit in the trailer sharing a beer and flicking through vinyls before Phoebe pulled one out and handing it over to Eddie.
