Phoebe Wheeler never had it easy. She lived in a town that was deemed cursed and to her knowledge it was, she never had a dull moment in this wretched town, the only thing she could thank Hawkins for was Eddie Munson.

Five blissful months with him was not nearly enough, she wanted forever with him, as long as forever was. She prayed it was a million lifetimes.

During her first three months of 1986 she was happy, she made amends with her cousin and practically moved in with Eddie, she spent about two nights a week in her actual bed, that didn't stop her from seeing her family. She attended every one of Eddies meetings sitting at the back and taking pictures of the group, she even applied for photography at a college knowing she would hate it but Eddie told her to follow her dreams and promised her no matter where she went in the world he would be with her every step of the way.

She was still to hear back from the college not letting her nerves win, she told herself she didn't care, she never fancied the idea anyway but deep down she wanted this, she needed this. She couldn't live in Hawkins forever not after the trauma it has left her with over the years.

On this exact day Phoebe was in her own home legs scrunched up to her chest as Lucille blabbed on about her recent breakup with Danielle.

"So yeah.." She trailed on "She didn't want to come out to her parents, which i get you know? Just because my mom was fine it doesn't mean hers will be and i get it i really do, i just don't think that's a reason to break up with someone? And then she had the fucking audacity to say my head was with someone else? Who is more amazing then her, no one fucking no one."

Phoebe let out a huff furrowing her brows, Robin was better then her. She didn't dare say the words out loud she just let them linger in her mind glancing at her friend, giving her a look which said 'i support your Lucille, but you like Robin'

"Sooo.. What do you think?"

"I think you'll be okay. She was the first girl you've dated Lucille, there will be plenty more to come, we can drink cry get high? Whatever you want because i'm here and i for one am not breaking up with someone as awesomely hot as you!"

"Geez way into a woman's heart!" She pressed her hand against her heart smiling widely.

"I know my ins" She winked, standing from the bed and grabbing her vest for work "Hey you going to the game?"

"I don't know. Probably, Robins playing isn't she?" Lucille asked glancing in the mirror not noticing the smirk that rose on Phoebes face.

"She is indeed." She replied sliding the vest over her arms, nothing could motivate her for the day ahead.

Phoebe stared into the mirror reapplying her lipgloss for what felt the twentieth time as Steve would drive over harsh bumps causing the lip gloss to slide over onto her cheek rather then her lips.
