After everything Phoebe had witnessed in this town, she didn't get so scared easily. Not until now, not until Vecna. She sat with her legs crossed staring out into the lake while Eddie lay between her legs asleep. She gently stroked down his hair never wanting to wake him up considering it seemed as though he was finally having a peaceful rest.
The name, the stories they were all so scary to her. Just the minor fact that she was possibly one of his victims was starting to settle in, she was terrified. She didn't want to end up like Chrissy, she didn't want to have her life cut short by some monster not when it was finally getting somewhere. The man between her legs meant everything to her and she couldn't bare the fact that maybe in the next oncoming days she would have no choice but to leave him.
She couldn't imagine if it was Eddie in her shoes, if it was him that was under a possible curse. The idea wreaked havoc on her mind, she gained no sleep because of it, she could barely manage to sleep without being in Eddies arms and now there was a high possibility they would never get to feel that again.
And then there was Lucille who had all this new information piled on her but it was different for her compared to the two boys, she finally understood why the group kept ignoring her desperate calls after Sydney and it was because they all knew, now she did.
"uhh, so bright.." Eddie groaned rubbing his eyes.
Phoebe let out a small giggle stopping her movements on his hair so that she could admire his morning look. Hair slightly messy yet he still looked perfect, he always looked perfect.
He reached for her hand intertwining it with his own as they both glanced out among the lake sighing in content. If they weren't hiding out here from the cops this would be the perfect moment.
"I'm classing this as our first date" Eddie beamed glancing up at her.
Even though they had been together for five months they had never had they're first date, neither of them cared enough to expression they're relationship in the normal manner with dates and evening outings. They much rather preferred passing blunts and listening to music in the comfort of the trailer, just them together, that's all that mattered.
"Do you always take girls on first dates when your on the run?" She hummed.
"Yeah all the time." He laughed shaking his head and climbing out the boat to glance down at his girlfriend, he shook his head grinning.
"What you smiling at Munson?" She smirked.
"You just look so god damn gorgeous." He muttered grabbing her cheeks "All the fucking time, how did i ever get so lucky huh Pheebs?"
"My hairs a mess and i'm pretty sure i have bags that the kids can carry the groceries in and i'm the gorgeous one?" She muttered playing with the rings on his fingers that were gently caressing her.
