The first sound she heard was the crackling from his makeshift curtain, then the sound of a dog woke her fully. She knew going back to sleep would be a big struggle so she slowly opened her eyes craning them up at a sleeping Eddie.
This was the first time she had ever woke up before him and now it was her time to admire his sleeping figure.
She couldn't believe the words he told her last night as she glanced down at his slow rising chest, he really said those words and he said them so effortlessly like it was a natural thing for the pair to say even though they had never said it before.
She relished in the comfortable silence the only sounds now were his soft snores, she made a attempt to detangle her legs from his own being successful, she now slowly lifted his arm from her chest and quietly climbed out the bed her feet being met the cold floor.
She wasn't sure if Wayne was home from his night shift, she wasn't even sure what time it was but she wanted to make a start on breakfast, so Eddie for once could he awoken with fresh smelling food.
She always scolded him for the leftover pizza and beer for breakfast, she wasn't a great cook but she could manage, her mom having taught her a few tricks to the 'perfect egg' she always claimed it was a way into any mans heart.
She peaked her head out the door Wayne's bag not on the table signalling it was extremely early, she let out a sigh opening the fridge and grabbing the eggs, preparing the perfect breakfast for her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend, who loved her. The two words still sounded strange to her, Eddie Munson was her boyfriend. The same Eddie Munson everyone's picks and pokes out for fun and games, the same Eddie Munson she loved.
She quietly opened the cupboard and grabbed three plates plating it all up, leaving one in the microwave for Wayne to heat up when he does come back.
She jumped slightly as she turned the sight of Eddie stretching against his door frame was a sight to behold, he yawned stretching further giving her clear view of his v line, she awkwardly looked away.
"C'mere" He mumbled, she turned back around walking towards his outstretched arms, she allowed herself to sink into the warmth of his body.
She snuggled further into him her head pressed tightly against his chest.
"Good morning sweetheart" He grovelled his voice still laced with sleep, she smirked leaning up and placing a chaste kiss to his lips.
"Morning to you, sleepyhead."
"Its 7am y'know?" He grumbled out looking over at the kitchen counter two plates with three perfect eggs on them "What do i owe the pleasure? Were you going to bring me breakfast in bed?"
