The usual CIA working office people noise filled your ears as you exited the doctors office, wrapped in bandages and stuffed with an amount of painkillers that would last for the next apocalypse.
"How's it looking?", Mason asked, leaning against a wall.
He had walked out of the mission unharmed and had even managed to keep Lazar alive.
Frank reached out to offer you an arm for support.
Letting out a deep breath, you let your head fall against his shoulder.
"Lots of bruises and enough contusions to last me a lifetime.", you pulled a face. "A cracked rib, but the doc said it'll heal."
Frank hummed.
It was a miracle, but somehow he had managed to stay unharmed, just a few little scratches. He needed a shower though, just like everyone else on the team.
Groaning, you let yourself fall against the wall and slid down to the ground to sit.
"God, I feel like I could eat a horse...", you sighed.
Frank huffed.
"I didn't have a chance to call the restaurant yet.", he kneeled down to wipe some blood off your cheek. "We should get you home first."
You huffed.
"I don't go home with guys on the first date.", you smirked.
Frank chuckled.
Behind him, Mason frowned.
"Wait...", he tilted his head. "You two are back!"
Opening one eye, you gifted him a judgemental look.
"Nice job, Mason, you were really fast to catch onto that.", you hummed. "But don't worry, wedding invites are usually send out six month earlier, so you won't miss out on that happening."
Snorting, Frank got back up.
"Sorry I didn't tell you.", he gave Mason a playful push. "But we had to figure things out."
Mason pulled a face.
"I'm not mad you're back. I'm mad you didn't ask me to be your best man yet!", he crossed his arms. "Would it be trashy to recycle my old speech?"
You frowned.
"Your old speech?"
He shrugged.
"I had one prepped for the first attempt."
Now it was Frank who pulled a face.
"Now don't get cocky.", he glanced at you. "We didn't even... well..."
You let out a deep breath.
"We didn't settle on that one yet. Just...", you couldn't hide a smile. "We're back."
Mason let his eyes jump from Frank to you and back.
"I'll give you four months.", he said with a grin.
"Two months.", Sims suggested.
"Two weeks.", Lazar offered.
Rolling your eyes, you gifted him an annoyed look and flicked your tongue.
"Don't test your limits!", you warned.
"He's not wrong.", Adler's voice suddenly interrupted. "You two never managed to keep it slow. Congrats from me."
With a satisfied look on his scarred face, he approached the group and took a deep breath of his cigarette.
Not a second later, his nose met Frank's fist.
