I woke up, groaning, to the sound of knocking. The sun was dead in my eyes and I let out a huge breath, trying to cover my eyes by closing them. Then the knocking occurred again, harder. My eyes involuntarily opened. Some girl was standing by the window of the car.

For a moment, I was confused as to who's car I was in until it hit me. Holy hell, I fell asleep in Taylor's car! I began to panic, thinking the girl at my window was his girlfriend. She motioned for me to open the door and I did. "Look, it's not what it looks like. Oh gosh I am-" she cut me off by laughing. I stared at her, confused. Bending over, she continued to laugh.

I heard Taylor groan and turned towards him. He was just waking up, stretching his arms. I turned back to the girl laughing. She had straight black hair that went to her shoulders and light green eyes. After she noticed me staring at her seriously, she stopped laughing. "Wait.." She said slowly, "You think I'm his girlfriend?" I nodded my head and again, she was laughing.

"Ana, quiet down for God's sake!" Taylors voice made me jump. He was leaned back in the passenger seat. "Im very confused," I blurted out. "That's my little sister." She must've heard what he said cause she exclaimed, "I am 16! I am not little." He laughed a hoarse laugh. "You act little though." Holding back my laughter, I closed my eyes and leaned back so they could talk. I had to admit, I was a little relieved to know that wasn't his girlfriend. Did he have one? I wouldn't doubt if he did. He was hot.

They bickered back and forth at each other as I pulled my phone out. 10 messages. Holy cow, I was in trouble.

Mom had messaged 9 times asking where I was and if I was okay. One text was from Lana saying she had gotten home at 2:30 am. I wrote Lana back saying okay and began to text mom.

Mom, a friend took me to the mall center and I accidentally fell asleep in their car. But no worries, Im literally right across the road

Putting away my phone, I noticed Ana had went back inside and Taylor was still in the car. I glanced at him and, you guessed it, he was staring at me. "What?" He asked arching an eyebrow with an amused look on his face. I stayed silent. I was still in shock we had both fallen asleep as soon as I parked. Hell, we had both fallen asleep in the same vehicle. He is your neighbor, Hayley. Nothing else. You slept in his car with him, there's nothing going on. I mentally facepalmed myself. I wasn't making my thought process any better.

"We should get out before your mom kills me," he whispered. My eyebrows furrowed then he pointed behind us. My mom was starting across the road. To say I was panicking was an understatement. I was hyperventilating. Okay, I wasn't really but I was terrified. We kept still as she got closer to the car. I had my eyes glued shut.

Taylor let out a breath he had been holding in. "She went to the front door," he whispered again. Still scared, I opened my eyes slightly. He was right. She was knocking on the front door. Ana answered and I saw her glance at us. Taylor muttered, "I swear...." But then, the unthinkable happened. My mom turned around and walked back over to our house. Ana winked at us & closed the door.

"It's a miracle!" Taylor lifted his arms up causing me to laugh. "Come on, lets go inside."

Turns out, Ana told my mom that I was still sleeping. My mom told her that I had sent a text but Ana played it cool. She told her I must've fallen back asleep right after I sent it. Ana was a really good liar.

We spent ten minutes just talking and getting to know each other. She told me a lot of her childhood memories, especially the embarrassing ones. Ana was actually very funny, just like Taylor.

Currently, I was saying goodbye to Ana. "It was awesome meeting you, Hayley. Come over whenever you want," she smiled and gave me a hug. "Thanks Ana." Taylor was standing by the door with his arms folded. "I'll walk you out." He said after Ana and I pulled away. She rolled her eyes and walked back towards her room.
