"Can you quiet down?"

"No way."

Taylor and I both jumped away from each other, startled at the sudden voice that belonged to the one and only, Lillian. We stood awkwardly beside each other as Lillian stood in front of us with her arms crossed. Her eyebrows were lifted and her eyes were narrowed.

"What gentleman you are." She spat at Taylor, sending him an evil glare.

"You aren't as innocent as you're trying to make yourself seem." He said, his tone was cold. I turned to look at him and he was staring at her.

She laughed evilly and flipped him off before stomping back inside. The door slammed and Taylor suddenly turned his body towards me.

"I can explain," He said nervously, his eyes pleading.

My eyebrows furrowed. What was he talking about?

Then it hit me.

He didn't know I saw them kiss.

I shook my head and laughed. "Taylor. I already know. I saw it."

"You did?" His eyes practically bulged out of his head.

I nodded. "Yeah, I did."

He closed his eyes and groaned. "Hayles I am so sorry. I was just so lost in the moment and confused and jeal-"

I cut him off by putting my lips on his. Immediately, he kissed me back.

We pulled away and he looked at me. "It was a jerk move; I am so sorry you saw it. I truly don't like her at all. I promise." He laughed and gave me that 'she-is-evil-and-crazy' look.

We both laughed together for what seemed like hours, right there on my porch.

"Lillian! Baby, I've missed you so so so much." Aunt Julie looked as if she was about to burst into tears as she walked towards Lillian with open arms.

I couldn't help but giggle at how Lillian groaned but was forced to hug her mom.

My mom was standing beside me, smiling. We had all walked outside onto the porch to wait for Aunt Julie. Lillian had no bags; meaning she had to borrow every freaking object I owned. My clothes, my shampoo, my deodorant, & my headphones were all used by her. I was gonna have to do some serious washing and cleaning after she left.

Aunt Julie pulled back from Lillian and turned to face us. They were both in front us.

"Im so glad you guys were able to bond." Aunt Julie smiled an honest smile.

Mentally, I scoffed and said 'yeah sure'. But out loud I said, "Yeah. It was amazing. She took all of my chips."

Lillian's head whipped towards me and she laughed. "Mmhmm, they were delicious. We shared." She winked at me.

In that moment I very badly wanted to inform her mom that I, in fact, was not offered any of my chips because her daughter was the one munching on them while watching some vampire series on Netflix. But I refrained from doing so and just smiled.

Aunt Julie let out a sigh, while smiling. "Well, me and doodle-bug are gonna head home now. It was so good seeing you Linda." She stepped forward and gave my mom a hug.

"We will miss you both." My mom said as she went to hug Lillian next.

I hugged Aunt Julie and told her I loved her. She did the same and gave me a kiss on my forehead before hopping into her car. Lillian was done hugging my mom and started to walk past me. As she did though, I heard her mutter.
