clary "hey, you."
clary "oh, thanks for being here."
simon "you don't need to do this alone."
simon "it's not who we are."
clary "are you sure you're feeling up to this?"
simon "yeah, it's just a cold. not the end of the world."
alec "the world's been ending for a thousand years."
alec "ah, you gey used to it. now, we need to move."
me "do you know sarcasmum."
alec glared at me while hiding his smile.

clary "yeah, my mum's loft is just across the alley."
alec "all right, well, we have to be careful."

alec "there are eyes all over the place and everybody in the shadow world's looking for you.""
simon "i mean, i guarantee you, no one's gonna find this shortcut."
simon "i used to take it back in middle school to see clary and leo."
simon "you might know the shadow world, but trust me i know brooklyn. come on."

he jumped over the wall. i'm guessing he turning into a vampire. we walked some wearied way i wouldn't say it a shortcut.

he then jumped onto the ladder which is stupid as the ladder was touching the floor.
clary "have you been doing parkour or something?"

we used the ladder as it should be used.
simon "you've gotten a lot better at this."
clary "i was just gonna say the same about you."
alec "climbing a fire escape excites mundanes."

i laughed "the wrong way i should teach him to clime ladders."
simon and alec both laugh at this.
alec i'll never understand these people."
clary "whole."
clary "i don't remember it like this."

alec "these are runs and wards of protection cast by a warlock."
clary "dot."
alec "some of these have been here for years."
clary "the only difference is now i can actually see them."
simon "yo, clary."
simon "what are all these tags?"
alec "you can see the runs?"
simon "yeah' kind of hard to miss."

alec "for a shadowhunter."
alec "they should be invisible to most mundanes."
alec "when did you get the sight?"
simon "i don't know."
simon "but whoever drew these should take some lessons from clary."

simon "their, uh, work is pretty sloppy."
clary "this is from when simon and i where engaged to be married."
me "i wasn't invited."
alec "you where engaged?"
alec "i'm almost certain i don't wanna hear this story..."
me "i agree."

simon "we were eight years old."
clary "that was a whole other world ago."
clary tried to open the door but it wouldn't .
clary "there's only one flaw in your plan here, simon."
simon "here, let me try."
simon pulled the door and it nearly came off the hinges. alec raised a eyebrow.

simon "after you."
clary "okay."
simon "ooh. leo first. then after me."
i walked in then simon walked in lastly alec walked in.
