clary "it just looks like a wine glass."

izzy takes the cup and both clary and jace look at her.

jace walks to alec.
jace "alec, what are you doing?"
jace "you can stare at this monitor all you want, they need angel bllod to get past the wards."

jace "no downworlder can come into the institute."

izzy "not without a invite by a shadowhunter."
alec "last i checked, valentine is a shadowhunter."

alec "the cup is not safe here. we have to give it back to the clave."
clary "give it back to the clave? no."
clary "not after everything we went through to get it."

izzy "my brother is right."
izzy "the cup is extremely importent."
clary sighs
alec "are you agreeing with me?"

clary "this cup is the one chance i have at getting my mum back."

jace "i agree with clary."

jace "we can't give the cup to the clave, not now."

jace "we need it."
jace "it's our only bargaining chip."
clary "look, i know how powerful this cup is."
clary "it has the power to create new shadowhunters, control demons and even kill a mundane if they drink from it."

clary "but i promise you, i will not let that monster get his hands on it."

we all start walking to the door.

we all walk outside with our weapons.
jace "don't move."
alec "drop what you're holding. put your hand up."
raph was holding simon we all put our weapons down.

clary "oh, my god, simon!"
we take him to the basement.
raph lays him down on a desk.

jace "people will be wondering what we found outside the perimeter."
i pulled out a chair and sat by simon.
i put my hand on top of his.

alec "i'll go. i'll tell 'em we didn't find anything."
alec "nobody will come down here."
raph "i might be a vampire."
