clary "magnus figured out that ragnor fel' is the warlock who can wake my mum."
clary "we're just bringing him back to the institute."
alec "how can i help?"
jace "we're just recovering a warlock, alec."
jace "we got it covered."

jace "we also have leo."
magnus "besides, you have emissaries from the clave to meet."
magnus "you don't want to tarnish your family's perfectly-crafted image, now do you?"

lydia "again, lovely seeing you, magnus."
me "maybe not."
alec and lydia finally leave magnus walks away.
jace "get ready."
jace "we leave in an hour."

i sat down with a drink in my hand waiting.

me, magnus, clary and jace walks throug a purple portal to a nice field area.
magnus "ragnor's house is just across these fields."
jace "let's make this quick."
jace "we'll talk to ragnor and portal him back to the institute before anyone knows we're gone."

we start walking.
magnus "so..."
magnus "brother and sister, huh?"
magnus "did leo know."
me "of course not who would let there sister kiss there brother."
magnus "true."

jace "i don't wanna talk about it."
jace "and leo shut up."
clary "what, so we're just gonna be work buddies now?"
clary "all about the mission, and totally ignore the huge bomb that just dropped on us."

jace "yeah, sounds like a plan."
jace "what do you want me to say, clary?"
jace "that i was attracted to my sister?"
me "were you attracted to your brother?"

clary "no--"
magnus "point of fact, brother and sisters are often attracted to each other."
magnus "i once knew this one couple in ancient egypt--"
clary "magnus, not helping."
me "i think he was."

magnus "maybe this will all make sense when we wake up jocelyn."
magnus "since she is jace's mother as well, perhaps--"
jace "don't say that again."
jace "maryse is my mother."
jace "at best, jocelyn is the woman who abandoned me."
clary "hey, that is not true."

clary "my mother would never abandon her son."
clary "she thought you were dead."
jace "or maybe she just didn't want me."
clary "you don't know her, jace."
jace "that's right, clary, i don't."
jace "do you?"

magnus "i'm sorry i asked!"
magnus "i came with you to escape my relationship drama, not get a front row seat to yours."
jace "what was that?"
clary "nice try, jace."

clary "you're not getting out of this conversation that easily."
magnus "look out!"
