"Mother please, i beg you to reconsider!" Karl pleaded, while sitting in the boarding schools' office with his mom and dad.
"It's not her decision, it's mine. You need to learn this is wrong, you are wrong." His father interrupted, placing a hand on his wife's chest and speaking for her.
"I'm sorry Karl.. I really am, this is out of my control." His mother whispered from behind her husband, her head low and her eyes fixated on the very interesting tiled floor.

Karl could feel a hot tear drop down his cheek as he couldn't believe what was happening. His parents were seriously sending him to a boarding school just because he was gay? How is this even legal?
"But- but dad I can learn to be like you at home! You don't need to send me here, please! It looks horrible!" And what Karl was saying was true.

This place was disgusting. The wooden walls looked extremely old and had cracks in, and the black tiled ceiling had mould in the cracks. And the smell was horrendous, Karl could barely breathe through his nose. He couldn't believe he had to stay here for two whole years. That's how long his parents had currently signed him up for, but his father has already expressed that if Karl wasn't 'fixed' by then, he must remain here until he was.

Unexpectedly, a tall blonde women walked through an unnoticeable door and begun walking towards Karl and his family. She wore a large smile and had black glasses balancing on her small button nose. She was quite pretty, but he black and grey suit ruined her look immediately.
"Hello! I'm Ms Turner, the head mistresses of this school. You must be Karl, am I correct?"
He sighed before answering with a silent nod.

"Well that's just fabulous! If you'd like to follow me I will show you to your dorm now." She says, glancing at his parents quickly for any objections, but when given none she begun walking away, expecting Karl to follow her.
"Well leave then! GO." Karl's father spat, pushing his son slightly towards the blonde who was halfway down the corridor by now. Karl wiped away a stray tear and didn't give his parents another glance, he just ran down the hallway so he could catch up with Ms Turner.

After they passed multiple doors, the headmistress stopped at a specific door which had a white sign on it saying D12 and Karl assumed that was his dorm. She unlocked it with a key and then opened the door, walking in with Karl following right behind her.

"Welcome. It's not a five star hotel but it is liveable. Breakfast starts at seven tomorrow, you can just stroll around and get used to the place until then." She says while searching in her pockets for something specific. Then she pulled out a folded piece of white lined paper. "This is your schedule. Don't worry about getting lost, you will be allowed to be late for the first few lessons as teachers can understand it's hard memorising a new area! We will talk soon Karl." She says before exiting the room and closing the door behind her.

"Well she was in a rush.. I could barely get a word in." Karl scoffed to himself, but he knew deep down she was just a busy lady and none of this was her fault. But he also knew it wasn't his fault, he will never forgive his parents for sending him here just because of his sexual orientation.

Now that he is alone, he took a few moments to look around the room he will be staying in for a long period of time. It had white painted walls with a blue carpet. A single bed was shoved in the corner which had blue sheets to match the carpet, and then a desk opposite the bed. A small dresser was also stuck by the desk, and Karl knew he will need to pack his clothes out soon enough. But his suitcase was still in the office, so he will need to get that first.

The room itself wasn't that bad, it wasn't as bad as the lobby anyway, that place was vile. Karl chucked his timetable on the dresser before exiting the room and going back the way he came to the office.

When he entered the familiar room, there was one other student already sitting opposite Ms Turner and their conversation didn't seem too positive. The boy clearly wasn't paying attention to her and that obviously wasn't pleasing the principal. She face palmed before looking up, and that's when she spotted me. A fake smile was then plastered on her face while she waved me over, so I strolled over to the two.

"Hello Karl! Is there something you need?" She smiled, and when she begun talking that's when the boy turned around to look at me. He had black wavy hair that was shorter than mine. Brown eyes and a cold facial expression. The most noticeable feature about him had to be an iconic white bandana he had tied around his forehead. Karl just stared at the boy for a moment before then glancing up at Ms Turner.

"I've left my suitcase in the closet room, I'm really sorry." He mumbled, awkwardly.
"Oh! No worries. Hey, actually why doesn't Sapnap here help you get that?" She grinned.
"What?" The black haired boy spoke, his voice was clearly irritated as he wasn't too fond of the idea. But Karl didn't really care.
"It's okay, I can get it." Karl suggested with a shrug.
"No no. Sapnap can either help you with this or have a detention. What will it be?" She glared at the student, as he sighed and stood up from the chair. He didn't give a verbal response, but since he dragged Karl out the office by my wrist, they both understood what his choice was.

Sapnap didn't let go of Karl's wrist until he finally led him into a small room. It was dark, until Sapnap turned his phone flashlight on.
"The light bulb broke last week." He explained, and Karl just nodded.
"Which one's yours?"
"The-the black one with a rainbow handle." He mumbled, slightly embarrassed. Sapnap just nodded before reaching up the top shelf and bringing the suitcase down. Karl smiled as Sapnap handed it to him.

"Lead the way."
"What? To where?" Karl asked.
"To your room so I can help you unpack, dumbass." Sapnap rolled his eyes at the boy, Karl could feel his cheeks going pink.
"Right.." he didn't really expect Sapnap to help him unpack, but he could use the help. And that's why he lead him back to his room.
