Karl had just finished Geography, which is the class he had after english. The two lessons flew by, maybe it was because he was extremely bored and had no one to talk to, so he just got the work done as soon as he could. Now, he had Physics which was his favourite science. And to top it off, he had a few of his new friends in this class.
He was currently sitting besides Quackity with Sapnap infront of him. Karl kicked Sap's chair a few times but the boy just leaned back on his chair and bounced it into Karl's table to piss him off. Although this all just ended up in the three boys laughing and then the Physics teacher yelling loudly at them.
"Sapnap!" Karl whispered, kicking the bottom of Sap's chair to get his attention. This was succesful as the boy quickly turned around afterwards, "What?" He said.
"What happens after last period?"
"Um! Excuse me Karlos, I know Sapnap is your favourite but you could've asked me!" Q groaned, but Karl just laughed while staring at the smirk Sapnap was wearing after hearing Quackity's words.
"Awww, I'm your favourite?" Sapnap gloated, although anyone and everyone could tell this was clearly making Sapnap blush as his cheeks were going pink.
"Oh fuck off. Well, can one of you tell me what happens after last period."
"You can do whatever aslong as you don't leave the building. I just sit in my dorm or go to someone else's dorm to hang out until dinner." Sapnap explained.
"We can all go mine till dinner? Watch a movie on my laptop or something." Quackity invited the two, and his friends both nodded agreeing.
"For the last time, Karl Sapnap and Quackity, SHUT UP!" The teacher growled at them all, which only made the trio erupt into laughter.
The class finished on a high note as they all didn't too much work it was mostly just chatting.
"Karl, stay behind please." The teacher asked just as Karl was about to leave the room with Q and Sapy.
"Oh- okay."
"We'll wait for you outside." Sapnap nodded, and Karl smiled silently.
"Take a seat." Karl did as he was told and sat opposite the teacher.
"Listen Karl. I hear you're a bright student, so I don't want your friendships to have an impact on your learning. I suggest you make sure your hanging around with the right people for you."
"If you're referring to Sapnap, he is the right person for me. He's my friend, and it's not your job to decide who I can be friends with." Karl stood his ground proudly, despite knowing his father would be so disappointed.
"Fair enough, I can't force you. But I suggest you two, and Quackity, keep it down in my lessons or I'll have to make you move seats, and neither of us want that, do we?"
Karl didn't respond after that, he just huffed and stared at the ground. Eventually, the teacher sighed and spoke up, "You may go." Karl didn't say any goodbyes, he just stood up and left the classroom, slamming the door shut behind him.
And suddenly, he didn't like Physics too much anymore.
"Karlos!" Quackity beamed when he saw his friend walking up to them.
"Hey guys."
"How was it?" Sapnap asked.
"All good, he was just asking me about how I'm finding my first day." Karl lied, he didn't want Sapnap thinking he was bad for Karl like his teacher obviously did. Because Karl knew that Sapnap was good for him, and that's all that mattered.
"Well anyways. Let's go my dorm!" Quackity beamed, racing down the hallway. He obviously expected the two others to chase after him, but they didn't. Instead, Karl and Sap just took a gentle work and chatted the whole way.
"So how was your first day?"
"It was alright. I don't think I would've survived if you weren't here." Karl smiled at him as their arms brushed against one another's.
Sapnap took notice of their arms touching for a few moments, and despite how quickly the action happened, it was still enough to make him blush. Thankfully, Karl was oblivious to the fact that sap's face was really red and neither of the boys mentioned it.
"What times dinner?"
"At 6pm everyday."
"Well it's already nearly 4pm- so we only get two hours of free time?" Karl asked, slightly disappointed.
"Well yeah but after dinner you get to do whatever you want for four hours until 10pm, which is lights out. But of course, you can't leave the premises." Sapnap explained.
"Wait so you haven't left this place in... wait how long have you been here for?" Karl only just realised that he didn't know much about Sapnap. The whole time he was talking about himself and his home life, but what about sap?
"I've been here for two years." Sapnap sighed, slightly embarrassed. "And you can leave the school for a few hours every Friday. You get four hours to go out, as long as you stay in town with a phone on you, you can go wherever the fuck you want."
"Where do you go?"
"I go to the skate park." He grins, and Karl could tell that skating was obviously something Sapnap was passionate about by the way he was speaking.
"I go there every-time, always on my own." He explained.
"Well maybe next time I can come with you.." Karl suggested, looking up at Sapy and their eyes connected.
"I'd like that. It's a date." He obviously didn't realise what he was saying until it was too late as Karl stopped walking and stared at him.
"What?"
"Wait no I didn't mean-" Now both the boys were as red as each other. "It-It's just something you say, you know?" He was desperately trying to take back his words but they had already been said.
"So you don't want to go on a date with me?" Karl asked with a chuckle, showing that he was obviously joking.
"What?! Well I didn't say that but-" And then he stopped himself again, Karl instantly raised his eyebrows.
Fucking hell Sapnap what is going on with you? Pull yourself together!
"You're actually adorable." Karl laughed at his friend, grabbed his hand and pulled him along the hallway while laughing. Sapnap didn't verbally respond, he just awkwardly smiled as he let the other lead the way, even though he probably didn't know the way to Q's dorm.
"Actually you'll have to go first, i don't know where the fuck his dorm is." Karl said and Sapnap couldn't help but burst into laughter.
Sapnap couldn't express how glad he was that the two had moved on for Sap's little mess up. That was fucking embarrassing.
