The anonymous persons plan to get Karl to see who Sapnap loved most didn't work in the slightest. Sapnap was hammered within the first hour of the party, the last thing on his mind was Karl and Dream having a petty argument, but he didn't even notice it. Karl would be lying if he said he wasn't disappointed in the slightest, because he was. He wanted to see how his boyfriend would react to that situation, but now he will never know.

It was now the next morning, Sapnap slept in Karl's room last night and they both shared the bed together. Both boys would do anything to not have to go to class today, but it was indeed Wednesday. Karl knew going to a party in the middle of the week was dumb, but he did it anyway, just for Sapnap.

Sapnap. Karl's boyfriend, his everything, said that he loves him last night. Does it still count if the boy was drunk? Well he wasn't that drunk, just slightly but still very exhausted. Surely he didn't mean it, surely it just slipped out?

The boy slipped out of the bed, leaving Sapnap sleeping soundlessly. Karl got dressed, not worrying about Sapnap waking up because he knew the boy would be sleeping for hours. Karl assumed he should let Sapnap skip school today, there was no way he could go to classes like normal with a huge hangover. So, Karl just checked his schedule, then took it with him as he exited the room, locking it behind him. He made sure to keep his phone on him, and he placed Sapnap's on the bedside table, so if his boyfriend woke up before he was back he could always ring Karl.

He made his way to the cafeteria, and then sat on the normal table with Wilbur and Quackity. Dream wasn't there, and Karl knew he'd need to go apologise to the blonde when he could. Although, there was a possibility that Dream had forgotten about the argument, and he was sleeping right now just like Sapnap.

Karl just shook it off and greeted his friends like usual.
"Morning Karl." Wilbur smiled, his cheeks pinker than usual. Karl did notice it, but didn't bring it up.
"Be right back, I'm gonna go get some breakfast." Quackity said, standing up from the table and patting Wil's shoulder before he left.

"Karl." Wilbur leant in, closer to Karl. The boy tilted his head in confusion, waiting for the boy to continue. "At the party yesterday..." Wilbur whispered, making sure nobody else could hear them. "Sapnap.. he-he called you 'baby'?" Wil asked, and Karl's cheeks went bright red.

"Uhh Wilbur I-" Karl was so terrified for anyone to know about him and Sapnap, because he had no idea who was giving him these anonymous notes. Surely it wasn't Wilbur, but Karl couldn't take any chances. "Sapnap was drunk, he was just being weird as usual." Karl forced a laugh, but when Wilbur didn't return the laughter, he knew the boy didn't believe him.
"Karl you can be honest with me, i'm your friend." Wilbur nodded, offering Karl a gentle smile. He didn't respond for a few minutes, he just stared at Wilbur and tried to figure out if he could trust the boy or not.

Karl eventually let out a scoff, and then got up to his feet in an instant. "I am being honest with you, I mean it Wilbur. Leave it." And then he stormed off into the hallway. Karl hated this, he hated having to lie to his friends, but he knew he didn't have a choice.

"Karl?" Dream said as he appeared from around the corner. Karl's eyes widened at the sight of the blonde, and he didn't say a word.
"About last night.. At the party..?" Dream mumbled, wanting some sort of explanation from Karl.
"Right- I-I'm sorry about that. I was drunk and saying nonsense, I didn't mean any of it." Karl eventually said, then forcing a small smile. Dream silently nodded, although Karl could tell he wasn't fully convinced.

"Are you coming to the cafeteria?" Dream asked. Karl shook his head and explained that he had already been there and gotten bored. Dream responded "Alright. I'll see you later."

Karl then decided to make his way to his first class, as he had nothing better to do. First, he had English, which was alright as he sat by Tubbo. Karl entered the empty classroom and took his seat, then went on his phone. He checked his inbox, but he received no messages. He knew Sapnap wouldn't be awake yet, but he couldn't help but check.

He opened the Wattpad app and continued reading this enemies to lovers book he found a few days ago, he was so close to finishing it. He kept reading for awhile until a few other students entered the classroom. Karl looked up from his phone and noticed the other people, then he put his phone away and begun writing in his work book.

He scribbled down the date and then felt a tap on his shoulder, making the boy look up.
"Hi!" Tubbo smiled, taking his normal seat besides Karl.
"Morning Tubbo, how are you?" Karl smiled, putting his pen down and smiling at his friend.

The other boy looked up at him and spoke, "I'm alright, I've been looking after Tommy all morning. He's completely wasted after last nights party!" He chuckled, and Karl joined in.
"The same with Sapnap! Who the fuck decides to have a party in the middle of the week?" Karl laughs loudly, and then adds on "I thought you weren't going to the party?"
"I wasn't initially, but Tommy really wanted to go but he didn't want to go so I went with him." Tubbo explained with a gentle smile, and then turned to his book begun scribbling down some words Karl couldn't read.

Karl nodded at Tubbo, even though he knew the boy didn't notice. Then, finally, the teacher entered the room and the lesson begun.
