It was now finally 7am, Karl knew he needed to wake up for breakfast but he was just so tired. He rolled around in his surprisingly comfy bed and smushed his head into his pillow.

An annoying ringtone sounded from his phone as he let out a groan, he knew he should answer it as it was probably his parents. He stirred about until he finally sat up and picked up his phone. But it wasn't either of his parents calling, it was an unknown number. Curiosity got the better of him as he answered the call,
"Hello?" He said into the device.
"Hey Jacobs, it's Sapnap where are you?"

The familiar voice made Karl jump out of bed in surprise.
"How did you get my number?" He asked into the phone.
"Doesn't matter. What matters is that you are going to be late to breakfast and that's not a good first impression. Now, where are you?"
"I-I'm just in my room."
"On my way." Sapnap stated before hanging up the phone, giving Karl no time to protest.

He simply just sighed and chucked his phone on his bed, then strolling over his dresser to get todays outfit. He didn't really care much about appearances here, but one thing did make him want to make an effort. And that was Sapnap.

After multiple minutes of consideration, he decided to wear his bleached, baggy, cuffed jeans with a white top he tucked in. Then he stuck a baby blue sweater on top. After he was dressed with socks and his white high top converse on, a knock was heard at his door.

Karl strolled over and opened the door, revealing a very pretty Sapnap. He was wearing black cargos and a black and red flame hoodie, and of course his iconic bandana. He also had black vans on which made him look very cool. Karl smiled at him and Sapnap returned it before grabbing his hand and yanking him out the room.
"Sap!" Karl shrieked as he was being playfully pulled down the corridor. Sapnap just laughed as they slowly reached the cafeteria.

When they entered the room Sapnap looked over at the clock, it read 07:09 meaning they were indeed late. But Sapnap didn't particularly care and Karl didn't even notice. Sapnap was still holding onto Karl's wrist before he smoothly rolled his hand down and instead held onto his hand. Their fingers intertwined and Karl looked at him in confusion; but Sapnap was scanning the room for a free table. Unfortunately, there was none meaning they had to share a table with someone else. Thankfully, Sapnap knew just who to go to so he led the way as he pulled Karl along.

They arrived at a practically empty table but it had two other people sat down. Sapnap started talking first, "Hey lads. We can sit here right?"
The two boys then turned around and glanced at Sapnap and Karl. One of them, a blonde boy with green eyes, grinned at Sapnap and spoke up, "Of course dude! Always." And then the two went and sat opposite.

"Who's your friend?" The blonde one asked.
"This is Karl, Karl meet Dream," the blonde smiled. "And Quackity." Then the other boy, a brunette with a navy blue beanie on grinned.
"Nice to meet you amigos!" Quackity exclaimed.
"Nice to meet you too!" Karl forced a smile, but he was honestly quite uncomfortable. Karl was never too good with new people, he's still shocked with how quickly him and Sapnap became so close.

"Soooo, what's going on with you two?" Dream smirked at Sapnap especially, and Karl looked at him but Sap didn't meet his eyes.
"What the fuck are you on about now?"
"That." Dream pointed at their conjoined hands which rested on the table. They had both forgotten they were holding hands, and Sapnap quickly pulled away when Dream pointed it out, and Karl couldn't help but feel hurt.
"Oh piss off, nothings going on." Sapnap chuckled and stood up. "Come on Karl we should go get our breakfast now before they stop serving." Karl just nodded silently and followed Sapnap to a cue in the cafeteria.

Sapnap ordered a ham sandwhich and Karl just got the same as he was too anxious to ask what else they had. Thankfully, Karl did enjoy a ham sandwich from time to time so he was glad Sapnap had chosen that. After they both collected and paid for their food, they sat back down at the table with Dream and Quackity.

"What lesson do yous have first?" Quackity asked them all, finally looking up from his iPad.
"I have geog." Dream sighed, holding his head in his hands.
"Art." Sapnap shrugged, not too bothered as he didn't hate art that much.
"Uhm- I forgot to check my timetable.." Karl mumbled.
"Seriously?" Sapnap laughed.
"You pulled me out my dorm before I could check! I couldn't even get my phone!"

"Well I'll come with you back to your dorm after breakfast and we can check what you have and I'll show you where it is." Sapnap said as he took a bite from his sandwich.
"Simp." Quackity laughed loudly, but quickly shut up when Sapnap gave him a death stare.
"Uh- yeah that'll work.." Karl awkwardly replied, taking small nibbles out of his sandwich.

"So sap, how's Tina?" Dream asked with a smug smile on his face.
"Oh fuck off." Sapnap laughed, rolling his eyes.
"Who's Tina?" Karl asked.
"Sapynapy girlfriend."

Ouch. Why did that hurt Karl's feelings so damn much?

"You have a girlfriend?" He asked his new friend.
"NO! No I don't, for fucks sake Q can you not go around telling people that? Me and Tina broke up months ago, drop it." Sapnap groaned, standing up and throwing his sandwich box in the bin then walking back over.

And then, in perfect timing, the bell sounded loudly. It rang throughout the cafeteria and nearly made Karl's ears bleed, yet all the other students didn't seem to care about the volume of it. Maybe this was one of them things Karl just needed to get used to.

They all stood up from their table and Sapnap grabbed onto Karl's hand once again, not wanting to lose him in the crowd of teenage boys around. He pulled him close as he slowly fought his way through the crowd and too the brunette's dorm. Eventually they thankfully reached the room and Karl entered first with Sapnap behind him. He picked up his timetable from the dresser and begun reading it aloud.

"Monday... art, maths, english, geography and then physics." He stated, then looked up at Sapnap who was grinning.
"We both have art first."
"Oh! That's great!" Karl also smiled as he stuffed his timetable into the back pocket of his jeans. Then he picked up his phone from the bed and then the two boys left the dormitory to go to the art room.

The walk there was filled with small talk and awkward silence, which made Karl feel uncomfortable as he had no idea what he was supposed to say.

Thankfully, the walk to their destination wasn't that far away meaning they didn't have to force chit chat for too long. Yes they were friends but Karl knew it was going to be awkward for the first day or so as he needs time to get used to the person first before being able to open up.

Sapnap walked into the classroom first and unlocked his and Karl's hands before anyone could notice. It did hurt Karl's feelings, since that wasn't the first time Sap had done this. Karl couldn't help but feel like Sapnap was embarrased by Karl.

Sapnap begun talking to the teacher as Karl stood awkwardly at the door with many students staring at him. Karl looked across the classroom to see if any of the people seemed nice, and one person did stand out. He was a blonde boy with blue eyes and he was wearing a red and white t-shirt. He was talking to a brunette who was sitting besides him. The brunette had circular glasses that reminded Karl of Harry Potter, which brought a smile to his face.

Soon enough, Sapnap walked back over to Karl and begun talking, "You can sit by me." And then led Karl to the back right of the classroom. Sapnap sat in a chair, but the seat next to him was taken, by someone the brunet wasn't familiar with, so Karl didn't know where to sit.
"Bad can you move and sit by Skeppy please? I really want to sit by Karl." He spoke, and that answered Karl's question but he didn't want to take this guys chair.
"Oh- No no it's fine! You- you can keep your seat I'll go sit somewhere else." Karl awkwardly smiled, but Karl quickly grabbed his hand and gave him a firm look.

"But I want you to sit next to me." Sapnap whined.
"Its fine you two, I'll happily sit next to Skeppy!" The boy, who Karl now knew as Bad, smiled brightly and picked up his bag, waved and then walked away to go sit by a black haired short boy.

Sapnap gave Karl a grin before Karl rolled his eyes, "I thought the seat next to you would be free."
"Why? You think you're my only friend, Jacobs?" He smirked and took his usual seat.
"No- its just... you invited me to sit by you, so I expected the chair to be empty.." Karl sat down in Bad's old chair and threw his bag under the table.

"Who cares? You're here now right where you belong, next to me." Sapnap said; and Karl didn't have time to reply as the teacher spoke up, starting the art lesson.
