Karl and Sapnap were now sitting opposite one another on the bottom of the ramp. Sap is sitting on his skateboard and Karl is sitting with his legs dangled around his torso.
"You know," Karl begun, which spiked Sapnaps attention. "You never told me what happened between you and Tom."
"You mean Tommy?" Sap rolled his eyes when hearing Karl say the nickname Sapnap used to use daily.
"Uhm- yeah..."

Sapnap signed and looked down at the floor for a few moments, considering his next few words. "Its a long story." He decided on.
"I have time." Karl raised an eyebrow, determined to get to the bottom of this.
"Fine." The other boy sighed.

"Well me and Tommy were friends as soon as I got here. We instantly clicked, i guess. But eventually we both became toxic together. He spread a few rumours about me and I did the same, even though i'm not proud of it." He took a slight breather before continuing. "I really liked Tommy, he was my bestfriend. But maybe we spent too much time together because I couldn't bare being around him after a year or so. The sort of shit he's said about me and my family though... I don't think i'll ever forgive him."

"You never talk about your family." Karl added, "It's really personal to me I guess. I told Tommy things i've never told anyone, and then he made rumours about it, so i've never trusted anyone since." And after hearing this, Karl couldn't help but feel bad for the other. He never knew how much Sapnap had actually been through till now.
"I hope you know I would never tell anyone anything you didn't want me too, love." He mumbled, dropping his head forward into Sapnap's chest. The other boy tangled his arms over Karl's back as they cuddled, "I know."

Time flew by after that and it was already time for them to start heading back to the school. They were both glad they went to the park though, it was nice to be properly alone for awhile. Of course, they've got their own dorms or whatever, but actually being out of that building is a new meaning or freedom.

They both stood up and Sapnap flung his skateboard under his arm, "So i'm guessing you don't think you'll ever go on one of these again?"
"Hell no. I'll come to the park again, so we can be alone. But i will most definitely not be stepping foot onto that thing again." Karl laughed as they walked back down the street, hand in hand.

"Also Karl." Sapnap begun, and the other boy knew he was being serious now because the vibe completely changed. "I hope you know that one day, i would like to tell you about my family and open up more about my home life. I do truly like you and I want you to know everything about me, just not yet if thats alright." Karl couldn't help but smile, how was Sapnap always so amazing?
"Sapnap that's fine, its no rush. I know you'll tell me when you're ready and thats enough for me." Karl responded.

They eventually made it back to the school and Sapnap led the way back to the office to let them know they had gotten back safely. They knocked on the office door and Ms Turner quickly answered in a shaky voice, "Come in."
They entered the room and there sat the two people Karl wad hoping to never see again.
"Its him!" Karl's father shouted, pointing at Sapnap angrily.
"Sir please, calm down." Ms Turner sighed, closing the door behind Sapnap and Karl as they awkwardly stood against the wall.

"Mom...? Dad? What are you two-"
"What are we doing here? No Karl, what are you doing here? We sent you here so you'd stop this nonsense about being a homosexual. But then I hear you're fucking one of your classmates?" Karl's father went off, and his son was more and more terrified with every word.
"Karl, i'm really disappointed." His mother stated, staring at her shoes.

"What are you talking about?!" Karl shouted, "I haven't been fucking anyone!"
"Well you've been touching and kissing this boy here, so I can't help but assume you've done other things." His fatber stated with an unhappy facial expression.

"What are you talking about? Who told you this?" Sapnap asked Karl's dad, he clearly wasn't intimated in the slightest.
"Certain pictures of you two were delivered to our house by the postman this morning. Holding hands, someones hand was on another ones thigh, and even a few pictures of you two kissing. So of course, we came down here as soon as we could." Karl's mother explained, holding her husbands hand.

Karl's heart was shattered. Who the fuck would do this? Karl had made zero enemies, he had no problems with anyone. But still, someone had gone out of their way to ruin his life.

"Something has to be done to fix this. Whether its Karl transferring schools or-"
"You can't move him away!" Sapnap shouted, holding Karl's hand protectively, but the other boy just stared at the floor silently.
"I agree with Sapnap, sir. Karl is a very bright student and we'd love to keep him at our school, surely there is something else we could do to fix this." Ms Turner spoke up, forcing a fake smile.
"Well my son can't be around this boy anymore. So if that means moving him out of this school, then that's whats happening." Mr Jacobs clearly wasn't going to change his mind anytime soon, so Karl knew that if he ever wanted to see Sapnap again, he'd have to speak up for once.

"NO!" He shouted loudly, and the room went silent. "This is my life and i'm done having you two control it! Yes, I'm gay, yes I like boys. And yes, i like Sapnap. But i'm a good kid, i get high grades in all my lessons, i've never had a behaviour issue ad i've never been in trouble with the law. Please, repay me by letting me stay in this school, with Sapnap. Please, and I'll never bother you again." Karl did make a good deal for his fathers liking, but his mother didn't want any of this. She wanted to see her son every chance she got, she just wasn't the biggest fan of the gays. But she was no where near as bad as Karl's father, he thought of the gays as vile and sinful.

"Please Ma'am, Sir, take some time and think about this." The headmistress added onto Karl's rant politely.
"We will." Karl's mother spoke up.
"What?"
"This is a big decision and we need time, honey. Leave the boy here for now, we can come back in a few days time when we have thought about the best solution for everyone." Karl's mother stood up and held onto her husbands hand. "You'll be hearing from us soon enough." She finished, and then walked out of the room with her husband following silently behind.

That left the room in an uncomfortable silence between Karl, Sapnap and Ms Turner.
"I have no issue with you two." Ms spoke up as she walked over to her seat, and sat down. "Just please, keep it on the down low for Karl's sake." She said, then nodded to the door. Both the boys nodded silently, walking out the room, and Sapnap instantly grabbed Karl into a tight hug.

"I'm so fucking proud of you." He whispered into the other boys ear.
"Thank you, pretty boy." Karl mumbled, and Sapnap instantly stared at him.
"What did you call me?"
"Nothing..." Karl smirked, as Sapnap despirately repeated himself.
"Say it again."
"Nope never." Karl laughed, kissing Sapnap's forehead.
"I hate you."
"You love me." Karl corrected.
