August 23, 1995.
Elyse was leaving for London today. She had packed her trunk full of all of the necessities that she would need for the school year. She had been in contact with Dumbledore and he sent her a flight ticket for the airport. Apparently she couldn't use the Floo Network because she lives with No-Maj, or as she was told, Muggle parents.
"Elyse, are you ready to go?" Called her father from the bottom of the stairs. "You don't want to be late."
"Coming Father!" Elyse answered.
Elyse grabbed her backpack full of things she would need at the airport. She had to give Willa to Lili-Anna because an owl can't fly on an airplane apparently. Who knew? She grabbed her trunk and hauled it down the stairs. Since Ilvermorny gives you a wand once you get sorted, and keeps it over the summer break, Elyse had no wand so she hoped that she would be able to get one when she gets all of her school books. Elyse took one last look of her room before leaving and closing the door.
She loaded her things into the back of her family's little blue car. Her parents in the front, she sat in the back and looked out the window. It was about an hour and a half drive to the airport, so she had time to enjoy Kentucky before she left.
When she got to the airport her parents helped her check in and get through security, then they left and Elyse was alone.
11:54 A.M.
One hour until her plane would start to board. With only her backpack with her, she took out her plane ticket and walked to her terminal where she would wait until it was time to board the plane.
12:17 P.M.
That took longer then she thought. She was told that when she got on the plane, a non-stop flight to London, a flight attendant would check on her every so often to make sure she was good.
Elyse took a seat in the waiting area and looked around. She saw mothers with children, families, elderly people, all sorts of people going to London. She wondered if any of these people were a Witch or Wizard too. She took out a book from her bag and started reading.
A while later a flight attendant came up to her.
"Excuse me ma'am?" She asked. She had her black hair tied in a bun and seamed nice.
"Oh sorry, yes?" Asked Elyse looking up from her book.
"Sorry to bother you, but are you on this flight? To London City Airport?" Asked the lady.
That sounded familiar to Elyse. She quickly looked at her ticket and nodded.
"Okay, and are you Elyse Colston?" The flight attendant asked.
"I- I am." Said Elyse unsure.
"Hi Elyse, my name is Isabella and I am going to be checking on you and helping you on your flight." She answered with a smile. "I said that I would help you because everyone has boarded the plane and we are waiting on you." She said this in a nice way, not in a "hurry up" kind of way.
"Oh sorry." Apologized Elyse as she hurriedly put her book away and stood up.
Isabella helped Elyse get into her seat. She had a seat in the back and she had the entire row to her self. "I wonder if that was planned?" Elyse thought as she sat down by the window seat. The flight was 10 hours so Elyse had plenty of time to read and sleep. So when the plane took off at 1:00 P.M, that meant that she would get there at 11:00 P.M. Kentucky time and it would be 4:00 A.M London time.
The sunset was beautiful, and being above the clouds made it extra pretty. They sky was a purple to red ombre color and looked amazing.
Isabella checked on Elyse a few times, making sure she was comfortable. Then Elyse fell asleep. She had a dream about that weird "vision" thing she had, but there was no image in her head, it was just black.
