It was a few days closer to Thanksgiving and Elyse has really started to notice that Ron, Harry and Hermione have not been talking with her much. They weren't ever really "friends" more like just some kids who hung out with each other, but none of the three were talking to her, in class or out of class.

Right now Elyse is in Charms class and the class is studying for O.W.L.S which are coming up right after Christmas.

"Lumos!"

"Aviss"

"Episkey"

"Incarcerous"

"Epoximise"

"Obscuro"

"Evanesce"

"Revelio"

"Vera Verto"

"Accio book"

Everyone was saying spells and refreshing their memory. Elyse had already practiced last night before she went to sleep, so she was bored, she thought it was time to have a little fun.

"Bombarda!" Elyse yelled and from the tip of her wand came an explosion.

"Ms. Colston! 10 points from Hufflepuff and detention tonight, right here!" Professor Flitwick yelled from on top of the stack of books he was standing on.

Whoops. She hadn't meant for it to lea to a detention. She bit her lip and practiced Lumos.

Elyse had put on her white nightgown before she went to detention since it would be from 6 pm to around 9 pm.

Elyse had to scrub the chalkboards and write lines. She was practically falling asleep by 9:10. Flitwick had decided to move it up to 9:30. 20 more minutes.

When Elyse left the charms room she was walking to her common room when she saw a shadow running down the hallway.

"Should I follow?" Elyse asked herself. "Ehh, why not?"

Elyse rushed after the shadow she saw. Every once in a while Elyse would hear the footsteps stop and Elyse quickly leaned against the wall.

After a while the shadow stopped in front of a wall and Elyse hid behind a pillar. Elyse watched as a door appeared and the shadow slipped in. Elyse raced after the door and luckily it wasn't gone yet. She opened the door and slipped along the wall.

She looked around and saw a big group of students practicing magic. The ones she could name were Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, Ginny, and Luna. She couldn't tell who any one else was, but she saw some Ravenclaws, one Hufflepuff, and the rest were Gryffindors.

"Luna! So glad you could join us." Elyse heard Harry say.

"Sorry I'm late, the Nargles were bothering another student." Luna said.

"Uhh yeah." Ron said. "We're just about to work on our Patronus."

Elyse watched for a bit before she got bored so she walked towards where the group of people were.

"Ahhh!" Elyse heard everyone yell.

"Ahh!" Elyse screamed back jokingly. "Ha, ha, nice prank guys."

"Bloody Elise! You scared us." Ron said talking for everyone. Everyone murmured in agreement. "I thought you were a ghost."

"What? Anyways," Elyse said, ignoring what Ron had said. "I'm just wondering. What in the Bloody Baron is this?"

Elyse saw Harry and Hermione look down at their hands.

"Well?" Elyse asked.

"It's ehh it-" Ginny started before Luna interrupted.

"It's a secret organization. We come here after curfew and practice spells. We all swore to not tell any-" Luna said.

"Luna! Stop!" Everyone yelled at her at once.

"Whoops. Sorry." Luna said.

"A secret organization? I thought we were friends. Why didn't you ask me, or for that matter, ask tell me about it?" Elyse said as tears stared to form in her eyes.

"Harry said that he didn't want you to join because he doesn't know you that well and doesn't know if-" Luna started.

"Luna! Shut it!" Harry said. His face scarlet color.

"It's fine! I already know how to make my Patronus. Expecto Patronum!" A silver Wild Rabbit appeared out of the tip of her wand and Elyse let it hop around for a bit before she stormed out of the room, tears streaming down her eyes.

"Elyse wait!" Hermione yelled but it was too late, Elyse had already gone into the hallway. She ran back to her common room and while she was, an owl flew in though an open window. It followed Elyse as she paid no attention to it.

"Woo woo." The owl hooted.

"Go away. I don't need another dumb letter Elyse said.

The owl just followed her until Elyse got to her common room. Quietly Elyse crawled though and went to her dorm. When Elyse got there she saw the owl sitting on her bed, the letter laying on the quilt next to it.

Elyse walked to her bed and sat down. She stroked the owl and wiped her eyes. After a bit Elyse reached over and picked up the letter and opened it,

Elyse,

Careful. Please. The people you think are to blame are the ones to trust. The ones you think to trust are to blame.

We will meet soon.

Elyse was so confused. Was it a riddle? She looked all over the parchment paper to try to find even maybe something written in small lettering. Nothing. She used Revelio. Nope. Nothing.

Elyse laid her wand on her bed side table and put her head on her pillow. She watched the owl fly out the window and it was silent.

Elyse let the tears slowly come to a stop and she tried to go to sleep. She rolled around in her bed for a long while, but couldn't fall asleep.

Elyse laid on her back staring at the ceiling and a whole bunch of "What If's" came into her head. Her leg started shaking and she started to breath more quickly. Elyse's tears started streaming down her face again, and Elyse turned to hide her face in her pillow. She let all of the shaking, sweating, and the crying come to a stop on it's own.

Elyse knew she had just had a panic attack, but over what? Luckily it was a smaller one but nothing was bothering her. Elyse blamed it on the O.W.L.S coming up. She had known that her panic attacks would get worse and worse each time if she tried to stop them, so she had started to just let them run their course and stop on their own.

After Elyse had fully relaxed after her panic attack, is when she had finally fallen asleep.

A/N: All of the spells mentioned at the beginning of the chapter are actual spells. Also the symptoms of Elyse's panic attack are what I have experienced and also looked up. If anything is wrong, please let me know. :)

Also, I have planned out most of the book and right now it's looking at around 20ish chapters I think. Short, I know but I hope you enjoy.
