- The Hufflepuff Princess -

Chapter 15

"What?" Elyse asked herself again. "No, it can't be."

Elyse looked at the letters again and double checked to make sure she was right. Yup. The first letter of each letter spelled out the word Princess. That could only mean one thing.

"I'm the lost princess." Elyse whispered to herself, still not believing it.

Then she thought back to the newspaper articles that had been circled and sent to her. Quickly Elyse stood up and rushed to her trunk and pushed her things around looking for at least one of the papers.

"Lee? What are you doing up at this hour?" Elyse heard Katie mumble.

"Go back to sleep. You're dreaming." She told her, hoping that possibly this was all a dream.

Elyse felt around her trunk and her hand stopped when her fingertips brushed up against a piece of paper. She wrapped her fingers around it and pulled it out of the trunk slowly so it wouldn't rip. 

Elyse turned the paper over and read the only the first two words in the title.

Prince Louis

Elyse stood up and rushed out of the room. She re-read the paper and took a look at the photo. It was a picture of Prince Louis on the balcony. He had the same Auburn hair as Elyse and the same Blue eyes.

They very clearly looked related but Elyse still had no idea how old he was or when his birthday is.

Then she remembered her project. She picked up her wand and quietly said a spell.

"Accio Royal Family Tree project." Elyse whispered.

At first nothing happened, and Elyse was about to go looking for it when a piece of paper landed next to her.

She smiled to herself and looked at the Royal Family Tree. She stopped at the bottom of the page when she got to Prince Louis's name.

Prince Louis Edward Jacob Scolton

Elyse read the name a few times and kept reading it over and over again.

"Scolton. That's not my last name." Elyse thought to herself. 

Maybe she was wrong. What if this was a big mistake. Elyse decided to read the family's names. Not just the prince's name.

King Edward Jacob Louis Scolton

Queen Jennifer Jane Elizabeth Scolton

Prince Louis Edward Jacob Scolton

Elyse noticed that the Queen's middle names where hers. Well the other way around. She also saw that the King and Prince's names were practically the same just swapped around. 

Elyse looked for any clues to understand why and how she of all people could be a princess.

Elyse then looked at the birthday of the prince to see when his was.

"Bloody- no way!" Elyse said to herself.

June 7th 1980.

Elyse stared at the date. That was her  birthday. She and the prince shared the same birth date.

That could only mean one thing.

And one thing only.

Only one.

Elyse has a twin brother. That is, IF  she is the princess.

Elyse couldn't take it any longer. Quickly she picked up all the papers and whatever else she had left on the floor, and put it all in her trunk at the end of her bed.
