Elyse and Draco walked down the middle isle, looking at all of the numbers on the side of the shelves
"There's 62."
"There's 102."
"67."
"There's 96 only-" Draco stopped mid-sentance. "Potter." He muttered under his breath.
He said it quietly that Elyse almost didn't hear him but apparently Harry heard him.
Harry turned around and stared at Draco, not paying attention to Elyse who was directly behind him.
"What are you doing here Potter? You're tesspassing, I could get my father and you'll all go to Azcaban." Draco sneared.
"I could say the same thing to you Malfoy." Harry spat back.
Elyse looked down the rows and saw the sign that said 77. She slipped her hand into Draco's and started to pull him towards the isle. "Come on Draco, it's this way."
Draco didn't budge. Elyse heard a gasp and turned to see Ginny, Hermione, Ron, Nevile, and Luna staring at her hand in Draco's. Elyse saw what they were looking at and tried to slip her hand out from Draco's, but Draco squeezed his hand around Elyse's and she couldn't get out from the grip. Instead, Elyse blushed. Her face probably bright red.
"I knew Elyse had been getting letters from someone, but I would have never thought Draco would be the one." Hermione realized.
"How had she known about the- oh. Right. My 'friends.' Of course." Elyse put together that Katie and Rosalie had shared how she had been getting letters.
Elyse turned her attention back to Draco and saw that he and Harry were just staring in to each others souls. With her wand in her other hand, she quickly put it in her robes and then with her now free hand, she wrapped it over their clasped hands and pulled Draco again. This time, Draco letting Elyse pull her.
They only got to isle 72 when they heard a scream. Quickly, Elyse looked at Draco to see his face white with horror.
Elyse took off back from where she came from and raced to Isle 96. When she got there, she stopped. She couldn't see the front of what it was, but she saw the back. Something or someone in all black.
Draco raced to catch up with Elyse and stopped next to her. Elyse turned her head and saw Draco breathing fast and him shaking his head.
"No-" He muttered.
"Get out of here Elyse!" Someone yelled, and the black figure turned around to see Elyse and Draco standing there.
Elyse heard the group run the opposite direction. Lovely. They had used her as a distraction so they could get away.
Elyse trailed her eyes from the ground to the face of the black figure. Well, more like a mask. Even though the figure was wearing a mask Elyse could tell that the figure was either shocked or scared.
She turned to Draco and saw that he had stopped shaking his head and breathing quickly. It seamed like he wasn't breathing at all.
Draco looked back at the figure and was shocked to see that four more figures in the black cloaks and masks had appared next to the one.
Elyse slowly turned to look at Draco again and she didn't see fear in his eyes, she saw dread.
Authors Note:
Hello! So if you haven't figured it out already, Katie and Rosalie told the group about Elyse's letters. I'm so mad at them, even though I made them do that. Also, why does Draco seem so nervous? Oh I don't know? Maybe it's his-
Wait until the next chapter. Things get good from here on. I'm ging to try to make the next chapter longer. Also, D and E's (Draco and Elyse's) relationship might take a turn from here... ;)
