Chapter 14

Elyse had just finished her Transfiguration homework and climbed into bed and as soon as her head hit the pillow, she was asleep.

Elyse was asleep for a good two hours when she had a dream, well more like a vision sort of thing. Everything was black and there was only a small white glowing orb in the middle of all the black. All the white orb was doing was floating in the black space. Then the white orb quickly shifts into pieces of parchment. It shifts into seven different pieces of parchment too quickly to take a closer look at them.

After a while of the shifting it slowly slows down and the parchment shifts into the letters Elyse had been getting. The dream kept shifting from letter to letter. Then the dream speeds up and zooms in on the letters and stopped on the first sentence. It kept changing from sentence to sentence.

Elyse then woke up panting trying to catch her breath. She sat up in bed and just sat there.

After a bit Elyse got out of bed and went to her trunk. She did so quietly so she wouldn't wake up her friends. Elyse reached into her trunk and felt around for a while before she got up and grabbed her wand from her nightstand. 

"Lumos." Elyse whispered. 

Her wand lit up and she hopped that it wouldn't wake up anyone. She used her wand to help her search for the letters. Elyse found the letters under a book of hers. She took the seven letters out and started to look through them right there.

"Lee, shut the bloody light off." Katie groaned.

"Sorry Kk." Elyse whispered as she picked up her letters and walked out of their room to the common room.

Elyse sat down on one of the couches and went through the letters. She read through the first sentence of each letter multiple times but never found anything.

She laid all of the letters down and looked again.

Nothing.

Elyse then had gotten the idea to use a spell to help her.

"Revelio." She whispered.

After a good 20 minutes, Elyse was falling asleep so she picked up the letters and stacked them in a pile and put them on the side table next to the couch.

"Nox." Elyse said and she went back to bed.

The next morning when Elyse had woken up, she reached for her glasses, put them on and looked around. She saw all her things thrown on the end of her bed, and last night came back to her.

Then Elyse remembered she had left her letters on the side table next to the couch in the common room where everyone could see them. She froze.

She jumped out of bed and quickly dressed in her robes and ran out in the common room. She found Rosalie and Katie on the couch with parchment papers in their hands.

"Lee! So glad you're up, you have some explaining to do. Sit. Sit." Rosalie said and she patted the spot next to her. Elyse stayed standing.

"What are yo doing with my parchment papers?" Elyse asked.

"Lee," Katie said. "Elyse we are going to be asking the questions here."

"Why should you get to?" Elyse asked angrily.

"Really Elyse? We are your best friends and you have been getting letters from someone named "L" and you never told us. How could you?" Rosalie said.
