~Christian POV~

Was I ready to talk to Rome? No, but it was 8:00 in the night and I have ignored him the entire time and I do know that we need to talk. I decided to finally call him and after the second ring he picked up, but it was dead silent on his side as if he didn't know what to say. I honestly did not know what to say either, whether I wanted to shout at him again or actually talk this through. It felt as if the call was silent for an eternity, not a hello or anything just the utter silence.

"Why did you take so long to respond back to me?" He asked. He does sound a little annoyed, but I can understand why. I know he is trying to be patient with me.

"I needed space." I muttered and the line went silent again. I guess he was thinking on what he should say and trying not to say the wrong thing to upset me again.

"We should talk about this in person. This is not a good idea to talk this over on the phone. I know it is late, but can I come for you?" I nodded my head until realizing that he can't see me. "Yeah," I responded and then the line went dead.

Rude? He didn't even say bye or anything.

I picked out a black cropped tee and dark denim jean shorts with rips and settled on my black and white converse. I sprayed perfume on and brushed my hair and teeth and sat by the kitchen door to wait for Rome. I should probably alert my mom this time to avoid any trouble. I got up and went up to my mom's room knowing this might not end the best possible way. I do not want her to meet Rome as yet, not when we are in the middle of a problem.

I knocked on her door and then entered seeing her watching television.

"Mama." I spoke and she turned towards me with a eyebrow raised. She looked me up and down noticing that I am dressed. "And you are going where at this time?" She interrogates and I sigh and move closer to her. "I- I am going with Rome. We are probably just going to drive around so we can talk about everything." I remark. She looks as if she wants to say a million things at once as her eyebrows furrowed slowly, tensing her shoulders.

"Christian, it's late," She points out and I nod my head.

"Mama, I know, but aunque realmente necesitamos hablar." I mumble afraid she will keep me from having this conversation with Rome. (We really need to talk though.)

"Christian, if you are not home by 11:00..." she warns and I immediately cut her off knowing what she will say.

"Si mama, Si. Thank you." I smile and she turns her head away not happy about how late I am going out. My phone pinged just as I was exiting her bedroom and I hastily walked to the kitchen and out of the door. I saw his car parked in our drive way and I slowly walked towards the passenger door. He usually opens my door for me, but he isn't making any movement to even come out of the car. Is he actually this upset with me?

I opened the door and placed my phone inside first and then got myself in right after. I looked towards him as I closed the door and he just started driving without saying a word to me. I looked out of the window waiting for him to at least say something to me. He is making this discussion much harder for no reason. I am actually ready to talk now.

"So, are you not going to apologize Christian?" He grills me and I look over at him shocked. Why the hell is he being so rude to me.

"You can be nicer Rome. What is your problem?" I roll my eyes and I can see his eyebrows crease in anger.

"What is my problem? What is my-!" He raises his voice, but cuts himself off knowing he was getting riled up. I was getting uncomfortable in this car with all of this angry tension in the air. I wanted out if he wanted to act like this.
