Brothers best friend.

Dating your brothers best friend is hard, especially when you all live together and you can't do anything "normal couples" would do.

"Can we cuddle?" I whispered to Dream, looking over at him on the other side of the couch. Sapnap was upstairs streaming, he started an hour ago so we should be safe for at least another hour.

"C'mere." He smiled, opening his arms for me to join him. I scooted to the other side of the couch and into his embrace. I loved moments like this, when my brother was busy or out of the house and we could finally act like a couple. "When can we tell him about us?" I asked, pulling the blanket over us.

"Whenever you want." My boyfriend replied, we've been keeping us a secret for about four months, we shared our feelings almost a year ago. "I just don't know how he'll react, his best friend dating his sister." I shrugged, thinking of the different outcomes in my head.

Dating in secret was hard but somehow we found ways. Stealing kisses when Sapnap would leave the room, date nights when I'd tell my family I felt sick so I could stay home from family events. I've only slept in the same bed as Dream a handful of times when Sapnap went to visit Karl.

"If I fall asleep will you wake me up when he's done streaming?" I asked, yawning and stretching out on the couch, leaving my head placed in Dreams lap. He looked down at me, gently holding the side of my head with his hand. He leaned down and gave me a kiss, pulling away with a smile on his lips. "Of course, take a nap."

~two hours later~

I woke up and felt as though hours had gone by. Stretching my body and letting my bones crack while I moved. Instantly halting my actions when my eyes landed on my brother sitting on the love seat watching tv. Peaking up at Dream I saw we were still in the same position but he was fast asleep, left arm around my torso, head leaned onto the back of the couch. I nudged Dream until he woke up, making a weird snorting sound as his body twitched awake.

"What baby?" He asked, almost as if he was worried something happened because I woke him up so suddenly. Once he noticed Sapnap on the couch he too had a worried look in his eyes.

"Finally you guys are awake, can we do something? I'm bored." My brother whined, looking at us as if nothing was out of the ordinary. As if his sister and best friend were cuddled up on the couch together.

"You're not..." I started saying, pointing my finger between Dream and I, "going to like..I don't know, scream at us? Be angry? Nothing?"

"First of all, no. Second of all, you guys aren't as sneaky as you'd like to think." He calmly explained, I gave him a confused look. "Wha-how?" I argued. We were plenty sneaky.

"About two months ago I got home early from moms house, you really thought I didn't hear you guys laughing in Dreams room? Or when I walked out of the kitchen and saw you two kiss behind me in that mirror-" He said, pointing to the mirror on the wall in the living room. "Or when I went on your phone to check the time and saw a text from my sister saying 'You look cute today, bubs' with a heart? Or-"

"Alright! We get it, we're horrible at sneaking around." I laughed, still confused as to why he wasn't more upset then he was. "You're really not mad?" Dream asked before I could.

"Nah, man. If she's happy I'm happy but never forget the saying-"

"I hurt her you hurt me a hundred times worse?" Dream finished the sentence for him.

"Exactly." Sapnap said with a smile. I let myself relax and lean into Dreams chest as his arm went back around me, feeling relaxed now that it was out in the open.

"Now can we please go play laser tag? Or mini golf? Anything, I don't care."

"Mini golf and I'm in." I said, they both agreed and I stood up from the couch, feeling a hand give my butt a little tap.

"That's disgusting." Sapnap laughed, grabbing his keys before we filed out the door.
