Finding out that he is the one stashing letters inside your locker for the past few years.

Watching the peaceful scenery of the school grounds, I smiled to myself. The air was crisp, students were bundled in sweaters, and the trees stood bare as winter approached. Just one more week until Christmas break, and the excitement was building.

But there was something else on my mind, something, or rather someone.

For the past year, someone had been slipping letters into my locker. Sweet, handwritten letters. No name. No clues. Just words that left me smiling and wondering who was behind them.

"Y/N! What's your plan for Christmas?" my friend Yeji suddenly popped up out of nowhere, nearly giving me a heart attack.

"Seriously, Yeji! You scared me," I said, clutching my chest. She just laughed. "Well? Are you spending it with family?"

"Of course," I replied with a soft smile. "Christmas is for family."

"You're not going to look for a boyfriend or anything?" she teased, wiggling her brows. I raised an eyebrow. "Really? A boyfriend?"

I mean, sure, I've been interested in love before. But honestly, the only person I've ever really had feelings for... probably wouldn't even look at me that way.

"Don't tell me you're still into Jimin," Yeji said, poking my side. I looked away. "Who wouldn't fall for him? He's kind... gentle..."

Yeji smirked. "Sounds like someone's got it bad." She pinched my cheeks. "Come on, let's get inside. It's freezing."

As she tugged me toward the building, we arrived at the lockers. I instinctively opened mine, half-expecting... and there it was. Another letter in a pink envelope.

It never failed.

I glanced around quickly, hoping to catch whoever was behind it but then, just for a second, I saw a figure in the distance. A guy with black hair... streaked with silver highlights.

Before I could move, Yeji called out, "Y/N! We're going to be late!" I turned to look back, but the guy was already gone.

"I think I saw the person who's been leaving me letters," I whispered to her, clutching the note in my hand. "Did you see their face?" she asked eagerly.

I shook my head. "Just... black hair with silver highlights." Yeji's eyes went wide. "Wait—only one person has silver highlights. Park Jimin."

I froze. No way.

"I doubt it," I muttered. "We barely even talk. We're practically strangers."

Still, my heart was racing.

After class, Yeji left early, her brother Hyunjin came to pick her up. I lived just across from the school, so I walked home. But on the way out, I spotted Jimin talking with his friends.

Should I?

I took a deep breath and approached him.

"Jimin?"

He and his friends turned to look at me. Awkward. "Can I talk to you? It's... important." He looked curious but nodded, asking his friends to wait. He led me into an empty classroom, quiet except for the muffled sounds of students still lingering in the halls.

"What's up?" he asked, his voice soft, almost melodic.

I swallowed hard. "A-Are you the one who's stashing letters in my locker?" He paused. Looked away. "I'm sorry? I'm not." My stomach dropped. Of course he's not. "I—uh—sorry for bothering you. I'll just go—"

"Yes, I am," he suddenly said, interrupting me. "Got a problem with that?" I froze. "W-What? But... why?"

He gave a half-shy, half-charming smile. "Isn't it obvious? I've had a crush on you for a while now. You probably saw me this morning, acting all weird. I didn't expect to be caught."

I stared at him, stunned and trying to keep my emotions in check. "If you're not ready or if you don't feel the same, I'll wait—"

"I love you too, Jimin," I said softly, smiling.

That was all it took. He leaned in and kissed me gently, and I swear the world melted away. The butterflies in my stomach turned into fireworks. It felt like a dream, and if it was, I never wanted to wake up.
