Seeing an article about his love affair with his ex and he thought you don't care about it since you got in an argument.

"Jimin!"

"Hyung!"

The BTS members burst into the room where Jimin was sitting, tension thick in the air.

"What?" Jimin turned to them with a look on his face that none of them had seen in a long time, tired, angry, hurt.

They knew things were rough lately. Jimin had argued with his wife, and now there was a bigger storm brewing. Jin tossed a tabloid on the table.

Article: "Is Something Blossoming Between Park Jimin and Choi Hara?"

"I told you something like this would happen," Jin said, arms crossed as he sat on the sofa. He had been with Jimin when he accidentally bumped into Choi Hara at a media event. "You only spoke to her for a minute, but look what the media turned it into."

Jimin clenched his jaw, staring at the article. "We barely talked. What the hell did they even get out of that short exchange?"

"Hyung, it's not true, right?" Jungkook asked, brows furrowed in concern.

"Of course not. Don't be ridiculous," Jimin snapped, frustrated.

Yoongi scrolled on his phone. "Just look at this... 'Sham marriage'? They're making up whatever they want now."

"We need to release a statement and shut this down fast," Jimin said firmly.

"Absolutely," Namjoon nodded. "It's not true, so we have nothing to hide or fear."

"Hyung," Jungkook hesitated, "Did the article mention... Y/N?"

Jimin looked up quickly. Namjoon stepped in, "Don't worry, they didn't. Let's just focus on getting this mess handled."

Meanwhile, Y/N was at Jimin's parents' house. With nowhere else to go, she'd decided to stay there for a while. Just minutes earlier, Jimin's brother, Jihyun, had shown her the article.

Her mind couldn't stop repeating one name, Choi Hara.

"I guess Jimin really got famous, huh?" Mrs. Park said beside her, trying to keep the mood light as they watched the members on TV.

"Oh..."

"If you're worried about the article, dear, don't be. It's nonsense," Mrs. Park added. "There's no husband more devoted than Jimin."

Y/N forced a smile, her heart heavy. If it's not true... he'll tell me himself, she thought.

Back at the company, Taehyung burst into the room, fuming. "Everything's a mess, Jimin. Can't Choi Hara just keep her mouth shut?"

Then, a moment of pause.

"Jimin... you should go home. Y/N's there."

"Says who? Jihyun?" Jimin asked flatly.

"Yeah."

"You two talk about everything now?" Jimin crossed his arms.

"Doesn't everyone?" Taehyung shot back.

"I'm not going home. Paparazzi will be all over me the second I step outside."

"What are you even saying? You've been whining about not going home for days."

"I'm not welcome there."

"What?! You have Y/N and Haru, your family!"

"She doesn't care, Taehyung. She didn't even react to the article. How long do I have to be the only one making compromises? I'm human too. I have pride."

Taehyung's temper flared. "Like husband, like wife, huh? What the hell are you saying?! She's always been like that, and you still told me you liked her."

"There's only so much I can take," Jimin muttered.

"Quit the crap and go home." Taehyung grabbed his collar. "Now."

"Go inside!" Taehyung shoved Jimin into the doorway. "Y/N?!" Jimin called out, seeing her curled up on the floor, crying.

"What are you doing on the floor? Why are you crying?" He rushed over, helping her up gently. "Jimin... did you really have an affair with Choi Hara?" Her voice broke as fresh tears streamed down.

"What? No! Of course not. Why would you even think that? You believed that garbage from the media? We already released a statement denying everything."

"But... everyone says the same thing. That it's not surprising. That it was bound to happen..."

"You've been reading the comments online?" Jimin looked crushed.

"I didn't know what to think. You didn't call. You didn't say anything to me..."

"You should've called me."

"I was too embarrassed..."

He took a deep breath and stepped closer. "Y/N, there's nothing to be embarrassed about between us. I didn't realize you were acting distant because you were hurting. I thought you'd stopped caring about me, and it tore me up inside."

"I... I never stopped," she whispered. "I've liked you from the beginning. I just didn't know how to show it anymore."

Jimin pulled her into a tight embrace.

"Was it because I wouldn't call you 'daddy'?" she added with a small smile through her tears. "If that's what it takes, I'll do it."

He let out a breathy laugh before cupping her cheeks and kissing her gently.

They were so caught up in the moment they forgot their 5-month-old son, Haru, was right there, watching them from his bouncer seat, blinking in wide-eyed confusion.

Jimin glanced over and smirked. "Let's continue... once Haru goes to sleep."
