Chapter seventeen

I call Violet and Cameron because I want to hangout with them. It's been a while since we don't do something together, either a pajamas party or go to the movies.

We do talk a lot at school, I still hangout with the same group of friends, but to be honest I love Cam and Violet. They're my best friends.

Cameron is dating some guy she met at a party and Violet and Matt are madly in love. They are so cute together.

I still find it awkward that my boyfriend is my friend's brother, but Ethan and Cameron are fine with it so I just need to get used to it. It's also weird calling Ethan 'my boyfriend' but I love it. It is kind of a big plot twist.

I'm down, Cameron? We need a girls night as soon as possible.

I'll be there in 20 minutes, do I have to bring something?

Nope, thanks. Mal, can you come right now? I'm bored

I took a long shower; the shower I needed. It made me think about everything going on in my life, I'm finally happy.

I have a boyfriend who I love, bestfriends who I love and I live in a place that I love. Right now everything's perfect, I couldn't ask for something better.

Honestly I need to live in the now and not think about what can happen in the future, because I would be thinking about something that I don't know about, and that something can ruin my happiness just like that. I tend to overthink a lot.

I'm ready to go to Cameron's place, so I ask my brother if he can take me there.

By the way, he and I talked about what happened that night. We jumped to the conclusion that he needs to stop listening to rumours and start trusting me more, and in case if he was right (he isn't, though) I would tell him what'd happened and he would do something about it.

After a five minutes car ride, I'm at Cameron's house, standing in the doorway while I text her to open the door.

"Hi baby," Ethan opens the door giving me a kiss on the lips "I didn't expect you being home today."

I'm about to answer but I hear some loud footsteps coming from the stairs

"Oh no, tonight she's ours" Violet and Cam say in unison, pulling me by my arm and making me go upstairs.

"I forgot that my girlfriend is my sister's best friend, my bad!" He shouts from downstairs.

"Shh! I don't want your family finding out that I did that," Violet answers.
