Confusing // Ethan Dolan

Chapter thirteen

"Do you think we should take things faster?" I'm surprised, I thought the last thing he wanted was that.

"Yes. If somebody asks you about us, what do you say we are?"

"I don't know..., what are we?" I wasn't expecting that question, I did asked myself that before he asked me, but I never really answered it. What are we? Friends? Friends that enjoy each other's company in a very loving way? A couple? I'm not able to answer that question because I'm not able to read his mind. I'm not able to read mine either. What do I want? I can't even answer that. I am confusing and I overthink everything but I do make the right decisions, and I don't want to make a mistake with this whole Ethan situation.

"That's what I was going to ask you, I'm not going to do this the childish way so I'm going straight to what I want. You. I want each and every inch of you. I want to be with you in every single way possible, and I know you're thinking this is way too fast, so I'm letting you know that even if you reject me I'm not going to give up."

"Ethan, I'm not going to reject you, that's the last thing I want. Why would you think I'd do that? I want you too and I thought you already knew it. All of this is new for me, I never had a relationship before and I do like you a lot. Maybe I want to try having one with you. But do we have to be called boyfriend and girlfriend, now?"

"It's new for me too, kind of. I don't care really, I just want you. So, perhaps yeah,"

"Yes, so if anyone asks me what are we I'll just say that we're dating. It sounds like boyfriend and girlfriend," I answer.

"It does" he laughs "well just a little bit, but who cares? We know that we're not boyfriend and girlfriend, why should people care?"

I don't even understand what are we. We're dating, but not girlfriend and boyfriend.

"You're right. What about Madison?"

"Madison is dating some other guy besides, what about her? You don't have to pay attention to her."

"I don't, it's just I thought she really liked you and that's why she overreacted with the kiss issue." I say.

"She didn't liked me, she did but that was a few months ago. And when she saw that a girl younger than her could make me actually like her, she got all jealous and wanted me back."

I don't know what is it with us and 'couplephobia', I bet if anyone sees us having this conversation would laugh because of how ridicoulous we look. It's official, Ethan and I are dating. It sounds weird in a very good way, I can't believe it.

Last month we hated each other because of one stupid dare, but what would had happened if Grayson was sitting on that bed? Or if Cameron never dared me to do that? I guess it's true, everything happens for a reason. And I'm so glad it happened.

"It's already 1:45 pm, we should eat," he says.

"Why do you keep suggesting to eat all the time?" I laugh because of his facial expression.

"Put your shoes on, we're going to Mc Donald's," he finally puts a t-shirt on so I stop staring at him.

"You know I'm vegetarian right?"

"Uh, yeah sure," he scratches the back of his head, looking at the floor awkwardly.

"It's okay, I didn't told you. There's a place named 'green eat' near by, I can go with you to Mc Donald's and once you finish eating, we go there," I suggest.

"You should try eating a burger though,"

"I don't think so, I never ate that,"

"That? A burger? You never tried one?" He says surprised as ever "you're going to try one, today"
